The Waldorf Astoria Seychelles Platte Island opened last year and has been very stingy in releasing standard award space.

But they have now done a complete 180 and there is now wide open award space for 130K Hilton points per night. With flexible rates going for up to $2,000 per night, that’s an award bargain.

If you spend 5 nights and have Hilton status or a Hilton card, the 5th night is free, making the total 520K points, or 104K points per night.

If you spend 6 nights at the hotel, the hotel will throw in a free transfer from Mahé Seychelles International Airport. Otherwise, the transfer will add about $720 per adult or $360 per child. 6 nights would set you back some 650K Hilton points.

Alternatively, you can redeem 100K Hilton points for the transfer.
