British Airways is offering 25%-50% off Avios redemptions on BA flights.

This sale requires ticketing by 10/13 and is valid for travel through 6/30/21.

Long haul flights in all cabins will be 50% off and short-haul flights will be 25% off.

You can cancel BA Avios awards for the lesser of $55 or the tax paid.

Typically you want to avoid using Avios to fly BA as the fuel surcharges can be ridiculous, but those surcharges have been lowered in coach and with this deal there can be some worthwhile uses, especially if you only need a one-way ticket.

BA’s new A350 business class suite can be found on routes like London-Tel Aviv:

If you book a one-way flight to London with this sale you can also use miles with another airline to fly back from anywhere in Europe to US with lower taxes and no fuel surcharges. Note that London’s APD tax only applies for departures from London and not for connecting in London. It also doesn’t apply to kids 15 and under in economy.

British Airways Visa Signature® Cardholders get 3 rebates per year for taxes and fees on one-way or round-trip BA flights from the US.
