United charges 80,000 miles for business saver awards on United flights to Central Asia, which includes:
- Afghanistan
- India
- Kazakhstan
- Kyrgyzstan
- Maldives
- Nepal
- Pakistan
- Sri Lanka
- Tajikistan
- Turkmenistan
- Uzbekistan
Business saver awards are booked in I class, which can be very challenging to find.
Incredibly though, United’s everyday business awards, which are booked in JN class, are pricing at the same rate as saver awards, just 80,000 miles each way!
Those are available on nearly all dates from now through the end of scheduling next year.
As these are everyday awards, they aren’t bookable by partner airlines.
United no longer charges any award redeposit cancellation fees, so you’ll get your miles and taxes back if you cancel anytime before departure. Book now and think later!
I’d recommend using United’s legacy award search calendar.
Newark to Delhi nonstop for 80K miles in business class:
That’s a value of some 10.8 cents per mile redeemed:
United flies nonstop from Newark and San Francisco to Delhi. You can add connections from other US cities for the same rate.
You can add connections within Central Asia, though those will bump up your award to the 88K partner level.
This will price for travel via other regions as well.
For example, Newark to the Maldives via Dubai for 88K miles in business class.
Of course that opens up the possibility of some hidden city options if you can fly without checked luggage, as that Newark-Dubai flight on its own normally costs between 175K-398K miles at the everyday business rate…
Newark to Sri Lanka:
As United always allows on international round-trip tickets, you can book a free stopover and open jaws. Learn more here.

Is it dead? I cant find anything. I saw for a hot minute 10K miles only from HNL – BOM!
Was just typing up the 10K deal, but then it vanished for me as well.
Seems dead now.
Yup. Showed 10k miles to MLE from LAX but now gone
Wow!! Typing all this alone probably takes half of your deals lifespan, is there no better way? Maybe a one liner and a link for starters and elaborate only as time allows?
I’ve tried that. Problem is that it just leads to hundreds of confused comments.
Maybe Reb Aryeh Fishel intelligence can help with the typing

General question about award bookings – when I follow the steps and show the 30 day calendar for the same EWR – DEL flights, the cost in miles is about 3x what Dan’s screenshot shows. What am I doing wrong?
