Get 500 Singapore Miles When You Link A Child Account
Singapore now allows adults to link their accounts to their children’s accounts. Unfortunately they charge a fee of $5 or 500 miles for every 5,000 miles transferred from a child’s account (ages 2-15) to an adult’s account.
Parents who link a child’s account by 8/31 will get a bonus of 500 miles, with a limit of 1 bonus per parental account. Offer limited to the first 5,000 linked accounts. Bonus miles will be posted by mid October and will be valid for 1 year.
While Singapore does have great redemption options for premium and suites travel on Singapore and good Star alliance award pricing, the Achilles’ heel of the program is that miles expire after 36 months regardless of account activity.
