Get A 25% Bonus When You Transfer AMEX Points Into Flying Blue Miles
Login to your account via the link above and the transfer ratio should say 1:1.25 through 6/15. It has been nearly 6 years since the last public transfer bonus to Flying Blue.
Flying Blue is the mileage program of Air France and KLM. They are both Skyteam alliance members, as is Delta.
The nice thing about Flying Blue is that they consider Israel to be part of Europe. However they do charge fuel surcharges except for Delta flights.
Round-trip coach to Israel would require 40K AMEX points plus fuel surcharges:
Round-trip business to Israel would require 100K AMEX points plus fuel surcharges:
Flying Blue does allow one-way redemptions for half the price, so 20K AMEX points would be enough for a one-way ticket between North America and Tel Aviv.
It’s worth noting that Flying Blue’s new calculator based award chart starts on 6/1 as they copy Delta in eliminating award charts. The calculator shows that saver coach tickets from JFK to Tel Aviv will remain 25K miles and that business class will actually go down from 62.5K miles to 53K miles each way.
Flying Blue occasionally has useful Promo Awards that discount the miles required by 25-50% from rotating cities, though there’s nothing useful available currently.
Bear in mind that Flying Blue miles expire after 24 months unless you credit a paid flight to Flying Blue, so don’t transfer miles over unless you have a specific redemption in mind.

Are delta domestic awards available on flying blue?
And does a domestic Delta flight qualify for the “must fly every 24 months” requirement?
I really don’t get the new calculation
from Miami to Tel Aviv 22000 and from nyc 25000
Exactly 20000 MR points
How good is the availability for domestic saver awards? Or awards to Israel? In my experience the search tool hardly shows any real awards. They always show an amazing calendar, but clicking on the day reveals a higher redemption if even available. Any tips?
Awards to Israel for 25k flying blue are widely available except during holiday season. I’ve flown with Air France to Israel many times.
would this help me fly to china with delta partner?
How is Delta’s Biz class to TLV?
Very good.
An how’s J in AF & KLM?
With miles it is a fantasy though — there is not going to be ANY availability on DL metal. DL does not provide any inventory in business class anymore
Are the prices on air France award estimator showing one way fares? Or round trip?
OW
Transfer ratio showing 1:1
Did you login?
is flying blue the best place to credit paid klm or air france flights to? or is delta better?
One way to Hawaii on Delta for 15k is a solid redemption
How does booking Delta to Hawaii on FB work? Simple process same as using Korean?
So if you fly on delta to Israel no fuel surcharge?
no fuel surcharge – but no availability
Hi dan, just to update you about the 24 months exp. policy, a few days ago i did a test by transferring 1000 amex to my flying blue account & i noticed that it did change the miles account balance for another 24 months plus extra portion of month. Now i did it again & its showing ACTIVITY OVERVIEW
102,492 MILES
102,492 valid until May 31, 2020. So that is good news that it is no longer required to take a paid skyteam partner flight every 24 months. PS. You could also update this also on your chart of all airlines exp. policy of 58 mileage programs that you posted on april 5, 2018
Theoretical only. Check delta for the whole year and let us know if there is even 1 flight open that’s not coming or going on shabbos
You may have to find a delta flight from TLV to Philadelphia or another city and get out at JFK. This trick is still a rare occurrence but has worked.
How do I check how many award miles are required for specific dates ?
On AirFrance.com.
You’ll need to make an account.
Is there any way to get it to show only nontops flights in the calendar view? I didn’t seem to find any options for that.
Thanks!
What’s the Flying Blue award cancellation policy?
on classic awards – 35 euro = $42
So not following, would this work for a delta nonstop biz class ticket to Israel with ZERO STOP OVER?
Technically yes. In reality no, as there is practically no Delta availability on Air France.
How does AF charge for lap infants? 10% of the full fare or something less?
I usually book award flight for my self, and then call in and pay 130€ (NYC – CDG) for the baby ..
is that 130 in coach or business?
Did promo end?
I see not all Amex accounts have this Promo
When flying to Israel What is the best way to use Amex Business Gold points? Do I sell for 1.4 per point or use fir travel to TLV
