You can get a 20% bonus for point transfers from Chase to BA, Iberia, or Aer Lingus Avios. You can also transfer BA Avios to Finnair Avios or Qatar Avios, where you can redeem awards for fewer miles. You can combine Avios via this link via the BA site.
With this bonus 1,000 Chase points transfers into 1,200 Avios. This promotion runs through 3/31 at 11:59pm ET.
Chase last offered a 30% bonus to Avios in October 2024 and September 2023.
You can also get a 20% bonus to Avios from AMEX or Citi.
In general, you shouldn’t transfer miles unless you have short-term plans to redeem them for flights.
Avios aren’t what they used to be. British Airways seems to devalue them every few months, bringing them from first to worst in no time.
You can save with the Qatar award chart or the Finnair award chart, which is the only Avios program that doesn’t charge per leg flown, though both Qatar and Finnair recently devalued their Avios.
You can search for award availability using BA Avios here. Finnair or Qatar should be able to book any award space that you find using BA Avios for fewer Avios, but you may need to call them to book.

@Dan: Amusingly you refer to them as “your favorite points”. Mine as well. But for that reason I save those for United and Hyatt and only transfer my “cheaper” points into Avios (even without the bonus).

This isn’t related to this post but not sure where to post. I was wondering if the only other way to use the Hilton credit that expires tonight on the platinum card is by physically booking a stay since the gift cards are not available?
Has anyone else had issues getting on to the BA site? No matter which browser I use, no matter whether it’s the English or American site, it sems like it’s been down for weeks.

I have a feeling that your problem is because its blocked by your Kosher filter that you have on your computer installed. Try using a computer that doesn’t have a filter. please let me know if this worked, thanks.
Checked with Qatar’s homepage for AMS-NYC and it shows only their own flights with stop in Qatar.. no option with JetBlue.. I Checked March April and May
Why should any Jew have any business to do with Qatar! Qatar supports Hamas and other terrorist groups. They just introduced another anti-Israel resolution in the UN. Any Jew who gives any business to Qatar is supporting terrorism. Even if you are Neturei Karta and hate Israel, they are still complicit in the killing of Yidden!
If you don’t want to fly with El Al, and insist on an Arab airline, at least the UAE (Emirates & Etihad) is not anti-Israel.

Yes, just add your JetBlue number to the reservation.
Just wanted to let you know that the information you provided wasn’t accurate. I booked a JetBlue-operated flight through Qatar Airways, added my Mosaic number, but JetBlue confirmed that Same Day Flight Switch doesn’t apply because the ticket isn’t on their ticket stock.
Unfortunately, those tickets ended up being completely useless. Just wanted to share so you’re aware.
Odd, never heard of any elite benefits not being honored because it’s on another ticket stock before.
