- Accommodation is based on two people sharing one room/tent or four people sharing two rooms/tents.
“Dates are mutually agreed upon and travel must take place between April 1 and June 30 or between September 1 and November 15, 2020.
You will travel in United Polaris business class seats before arriving to an action-packed schedule that will inspire unforgettable memories. The journey starts with two nights in Tel Aviv, followed by three nights in Aqaba, Jordan’s only coastal city; from there you’ll tour Wadi Rum and Shakaria, both iconic filming locations in the Star Wars franchise. Get a glimpse of the galaxy when you spend one night in a unique “bubble tent” — and keep your eyes peeled not only for shooting stars but also half-wild camels on the horizon.”
It’s an awesome prize, but it won’t come cheap. The current bid is nearly 1.4MM United miles.
You can transfer Chase Ultimate Rewards points to United instantly.

@Dan
Are you bidding ?
@Dan What’s your bid? 😉
Now that’s an amazing trip….
You think he’d be posting this if he was bidding? 🙂
Yes. He’s the only one who really has that many miles to “burn”… wink
Given that there are no direct flights from TLV to Aqaba, does that mean they’ll be putting you on connecting flights to go 160 miles?
Will the food be Kosher?
A true Star Wars fan will survive on tuna and wearing a headdress for a few days….
Accordind to Jordanian rules. a person is not allowed to bring any judaica, i.e. tallis,tephilin,siddurim etc ,into Jordan. I’ve been told by Israeli travel agents,that they will be confiscated at the border
Many DDF members have gone to Petra and have not encountered that.
I’ve been stopped with a group of friends at the border where they confiscated “everything”!! Except 2 teffilns we managed to smuggle in
