fuel surcharges is a deal killer with El-AL
No big deal, 40k amex is worth about $600 plus $354 fuel surcharge tack on $100 to get to Boston and you’re paying $1,054 to fly to Israel in the winter with a stop.
So…Just to clarify before I transfer the point…If I transfer 7000 SPG AmEx points to El Al today then tomorrow I will be able to book to business class tickets from Boston and TLV for just the 7000 points? My only hesitation in transferring the points is if availability is gone by the time I get executive status tomorrow. Do you think that might be an issue? Is there any way to reserve the flights today and book tomorrow? We are traveling between 11/6-11/18
Thanks.
Brandon
@Anonymous:
True.
@Avi:
Except you can fly back after Pesach or in the summer with this deal.
And some people actually live in BOS š
@Brandon Burchett:
SPG points don’t transfer to El Al.
If I have no AMEX membership rewards points is there any other way to become ElAl executive?
What other benefits does Executive provide?
Is elal business lie flat from Boston.
@avi Business class might be your better option as opposed to sardine class.
@Danny:
Haha lie flat on El Al, that’s a good one
can i get off the return flight in NY or is it a direct flight?
anybody know when this offer ends? Thanks!
