“Sample uses without fuel surcharges:
-31K MR points for round-trip coach JFK-London on Delta.”
How do yo book a delta flight with virgin miles without the fuel surcharges?
@Mike:
If there’s Delta saver availability then Virgin is a good deal.
@dave:
Membership Rewards
@dave:
If there’s Delta saver availability then call Virgin to book.
@Mr boat:
You need Green, Gold, or Plat.
@ddkk:
You call Virgin.
where and how should I get a united business ticket with my points to Israel?
“(or airline gift cards in $100 increments)”
That means 2×100?
And can that be liquidated on cardpool?
In past history has there ever been a bonus to transfer MR to Singapore Kris?
Dan, would you recommend transferring MR points into Virgin Atlantic just to get the bonus even though I dont plan on flying now?
@Ezriel:
Which points?
@chuk:
Better to cash out with the PGMM: http://forums.dansdeals.com/index.php?topic=3802
Get $200 in December and $200 in January.
@Brilliant:
Probably not.
Is there a fuel surcharge when redeeming Virgin miles for Delta flights to Israel?
Hey Dan – I have a dozen or so cards currently but none are American Express. Would I have problems doing a 3BM and getting all approved without a history with AMEX? Should I start with 1 or 2?
@Dan
Is it possible to book delta flight JFK-SLC with elevate points? If so, how? Just spoke with Virgin Representative who said I can’t use virgin points to book delta flights.
@Dan: How do you check if there is Delta saver availability?
@Mendel:
There shouldn’t be.
@Bob:
Shouldn’t be an issue if you have good credit. Can probably even get 4.
@Jeremy:
HUCA!

@mike:
Do an award search on delta.com and click on the calendar to see saver dates.
@Dan
I asked to speak to a manager and he said “To book a delta flight?”
Dan
Can you educate me on how I can get lax to Maui for 21k return
Hey Dan, I can’t figure out how to book a purely domestic virgin Atlantic flight
Could you please give me some instructions?
Keep calling Virgin until you get a competant rep who knows how to book Delta wards.
The award chart is here:
http://www.virgin-atlantic.com/en/us/frequentflyer/fcpartners/airlines/deltaairlines.jsp?bfSubmit1.y=3&bfSubmit1.x=28
So, the lounges (AA, DL, US) only check the valid thru date on the card (4 yrs)? Is this for sure? I would think they would have a way of verifying that my card was cancelled.
-31K MR points for round-trip coach JFK-London on Delta.
according to their chart is 60k miles, so how do you get to 31k amex?
When you write “without fuel charges” does that mean there is no fuel charge?
I want to book tickets NYC to LHR can I fly for 31k miles and no fuel charge?
United points
I am a bit new at this. If I have 100k AMEX points how can I transfer them – I live in Israel and want to travel home for Pesach. thanks dan
Meaning are these samples good for the reverse trip as well. I was thinking of flying Air Berlin, because than you can take two suitcase. Would 100K be good for my wife and I?
What would be the cheapest way to get a flight this thursday from JFK to FLL and return on sunday using MR or UR points? Would booking on a delta flight using virgin atlantic program be the best? seems to nees 25,000 less points per person? Thanks Dan!
From what I see online, Air Berlin economy has shared video for everyone. I wanted to schedule an Israel trip using Membership Rewards through BA.com, but am not sure my kids would last without personal monitors. Has someone who has flown this route (JFK-DUS-TLV) confirm or deny this entertainment status?
pgmm was first posted in 2010. is it still working without a hitch? great way to make back the annual fee!
Hi Dan. Do you expect JetBlue to have any AMEX Membership Rewards transfer bonuses in the near future???
seems like elal has a deal on their website that you get 1 matmid point for 29 membership rewards does anyone know if thats also for american cards
I know this has been asked before, but what is the best way for me to cash in on 100,000+ AmEx points. The card is expiring and I don’t want to lose the points, but have no travel or shopping plans, and I don’t want to transfer them to Avios. What’s the best way to make the most of these points?
@dave:
I would take and give u access to 100,000 points combined AA/Delta/others not expiring minus 10 percent discount or pay cash of $1150
