Qantas is back with another targeted transfer bonus.
If you received the targeted email (Subject: Transfer now for up to 25% more Qantas Points) you can get a bonus when you transfer credit card points to Qantas through 11:59pm in Sydney on 11/30.
- Transfers up to 299,999 Qantas points earn a 15% bonus.
- Transfers of 300K+ Qantas points earn a 25% bonus.
- For every 5,000 Qantas Points transferred you’ll earn 1 status credit, up to 150 credits.
Bonus points will post by 12/15/20.
You can transfer points from AMEX, Barclays, Capital One, or Citi to Qantas with this offer.
Last year a 15-25% transfer bonus turned out to be stackable on top of the 20% AMEX transfer bonus, but there are no stackable offers now.
Qantas now partners with Air France/KLM Flying Blue for more reward flight options, though they add fuel surcharges for those flights.
You can use 37.8K Qantas points in coach, 70,800 Qantas points in premium economy, or 90K Qantas points in business for a one-way ticket on El Al between NYC and Tel Aviv without fuel surcharges, but El Al does block some of the space on the route:

Will El Al continue their partnership with Qantas?
The value of QF is so bad that even with the bonus It’s under 1.25 which I always get with the CS platinum. If Amex joins the fun and we can stack than it might be a nice value there

I got the email, but I have no idea what a status credit is or how many I need.
Y isnt any elal space showing up on qf now if elal has it available ? Also if I booked ly using qf but got canceled what’s the best way to get a ticket reissued if no avail award space on qf anymore ? Dont they legally hafta rebook u for when u want even if no space open ?
How can you search online for flights from US to Tel Aviv? It doesn’t show TLV as a valid destination.
From my experience, the availability on QF for ElAL flights is terrible.
I wish I could do this but the possibilities of losing my amex points are too great. Also the possibility of the points devaluing without notice after being transferred are too great.
