It’s usually the other way around. You can catch a ride back with the IAF planes.

If I dont plan on flying Emirates ever does this provide any value? Say for Domestic or Israel fights?

chaim

since emirates now became a viable option for many people it would be great of you could publish their award charts

Watch out for some hefty fuel surcharges before booking.

It is exactly 1 year ago when chase added jetblue as a transfer partner & has removed korean air at the same time. Maybe again next year this time they will add another partner.

I fly Emirates all the time from MXP to JFK. It’s a superb experience and the latest (timewise) flight out of Italy avoiding the need to kill a full day on board. I typically go UA EWR-MXP and hack a GPU an hour before the flight and use Emirates for the return. Book a economy flex at 700 euro and upgrade with 30K mikes. It’s my most well spent miles. I do it 5-6 times annually.
Athens is also a good option for a entry and exit off the European continent

Archie

Does Emirates have a lot of availability for upgrading to business?

Charlie

I never have an issue. Occasionally it’ll clear only on the day of flight

yankel

this might need to be updated
