If you have never credited a flight to Aegean you can buy up to 30K award miles and get a bonus 30K award miles. The cost for 60K miles would be €750 or $856, which comes out to 1.427 cents per mile.
If you have credited a flight to Aegean you can buy up to 50K award miles and get a bonus 50K award miles. The cost for 100K would be €1,250 or $1,427, which comes out to 1.427 cents per mile.

Aegean considers Israel to be part of Europe/North Africa, so you can book a one-way between North America and Europe (including Israel) for just 30K miles in coach, 45K miles in business, or 60K miles in first class!
If you buy 30K miles for a one-way coach ticket between North America and Israel at a cost of 1.427 cents per mile, that’s like paying $428.
If you buy 45K miles for a one-way business class ticket at a cost of 1.427 cents per mile, that’s like paying $642.
Of course you’re at the mercy of saver award availability. Aegean does not charge fuel surcharges to fly on Air Canada or United, but they do collect them on other airlines.

A flight within Europe/North Africa (including Israel) is just 15K miles in coach or 25K miles in business class each way.
You can also transfer 60K Marriott points into 25K Aegean miles.
Aegean only charges 20 Euros to change or cancel an award ticket and there are no close-in fees.
Aegean miles expire after 60 months, but if you credit any Star Alliance flight to Aegean your points will be extended by another 60 months.

How do you check availbity for Aegen with air Canada or united?
You can search on Aegean’s site or on United’s site.
I think the miles expire after 5 years of no activity. Also a transfer of 3000 marriott points is also considered activity.

You would have to transfer those to Marriott and then to Aegean. You’ll lose a lot in the process.
