Hyatt is offering non-cardholders a 15% points rebate on awards from now through 10/8/20. Registration is required by 9/1 here. Non-cardholders can get up to a 30K points rebate per transaction and there is no limit to how many total points you can have rebated.
If you have a Hyatt or World of Hyatt credit card then you’ll get a 25% points rebate! Registration is required by 9/1 here. Cardholders can get up to a 60K points rebate per transaction and there is no limit to how many total points you can have rebated.
Members and Cardmembers can
This is valid for previously booked award travel, as long as you register by 9/1 and complete your stay in the valid timeframe.
Officially it states to allow 6-8 weeks after your points redemption has been completed for the points rebate, but based on experience from this promotion in the past, it should post much faster that that.
The World of Hyatt credit card is an excellent card and comes with 50,000 points in addition to annual free nights, elite status, and promotions. You can read more about the new World of Hyatt card here. You can apply now and still take advantage of the 25% promotion!
This offer will stack with this Hyatt Promo that awards 2,500 points for elite members and cardholder stays. That means a cardholder making a stay will get 2,500 points and a 25% rebate!
A night at a category 1 Hyatt like the Hyatt Place Fair Lawn/Paramus, NJ normally costs 5K points, but would be 1,250 points for a cardholder after the 25% rebate and 2,500 bonus points.
A night at a category 7 Hyatt like the Park Hyatt NYC or Park Hyatt Maldives normally costs 30K points, but would be 20K points for a cardholder after the 25% rebate and 2,500 bonus points.
Hyatt always waives resort fees on award stays.
Plus, all award stays from today through 10/8 will come with free parking! Hyatt Globalist elites will also get free parking on paid stays from today through 10/8.
You can transfer points instantly from Chase to Hyatt if you have a card like the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card or Sapphire Reserve.

Does free parking also come with all of the money in the middle?
Do not pass go. Do not collect $200.
Would this be a good promo to do a fast track to globalist?
If you have lots of points, sure.
Great offer! maybe add a chart for all categories after 25% off on award nights
Need some Hyatt cc advice. I have the old Hyatt cc with the $75 annual fee. I never upgraded when the new World of Hyatt cc came out. I am thinking about cancelling the current Hyatt cc, waiting 30 days or so, then applying for the new World of Hyatt card with the 25,000 + 25,000 bonus point offer with appropriate spend. Is this the best way to get the new World of Hyatt cc and the bonus or should I just upgrade the current Hyatt cc? I don’t believe there are many upgrade bonuses out there at the moment. Thanks.
That would work. Are you under 5/24?
Under 5/24 now. I should transfer the credit limit to another card before closing this one, correct? No need to close down a card with a strong credit limit? Let’s say it has a $10,000 credit limit. I should transfer $9,000 to another card (assuming I can) and then close down this card with $1,000 credit limit, then apply 30 days later for the new card and ask Chase to take credit from a current card for this new card (assuming I don’t get an immediate response online saying approved–which I haven’t seen in quite some time). Thanks Dan.
$6000 spend and $95 AF
should I wait for better offer in the future this does not seem so great
This has been the offer for quite some time, I don’t anticipate it getting better anytime soon.
The anniversary night pays for the annual fee and 50K points is more than 2 free nights in a top-tier hotel with this promotion.
This was addressed in the post but I just want to confirm because I didn’t see anything on the hyatt website. I already booked award nights for stays in August. Do I need to re-book to get the rebates or by registering at the link in the post, I get a rebate even for those point bookings I made prior to registering through the link? Thanks for your help!
Nevermind, I just found my answer in the FAQs Sorry about that. Thanks for the post! There’s a reason I check Dansdeals 100 times a day!!!
if a WORLD OF HYATT cardholder pays/redeems for someone a stay but the card member does not stay with them, will the nights qualify towards Hyatt Status for the card member? will it qualify to the award rebate?
Will not qualify toward status. Would like Dan’s input whether this would trigger the rebate though – I made a GOH booking for a friend in August – would also like to know if I can expect a rebate?
Same question if you’ll earn 3X points Promo for paying with the WOH card for a room That your not actually staying ?
Does it apply to SLH collection too? Would you be able to get free parking the Park Hyatt New York?
Hyatt Globalist elites will also get free parking on paid stays from today through 10/8.
Where do you see that posted from Hyatt ? I am a globalist

It’s in the terms.
If I registered today, and booked 4 months ago for award nights, I’ll still receive 25% back if I have Hyatt card?
Now just hoping that: (i) they extend this promotion again to end of January so that we can use this for Yeshiva Week, and (ii) FL numbers go down so that no quarantine is required by then. I think that (ii) is less likely than (i) unfortunately.
Does anyone know if Guest of Honor bookings get 15% or 25% points back?
