i got a atrium club room at the westin. dont forget you have to pay taxes on the room. a $1250 will still come out to almost $200 still an unbelievable deal tho.

eagerly awaiting a response. i need my free night! why must they wait on me (the deal i found is still better at Kayak, but i’m scared it won’t last)…

I did it for the westin at times sqaure, and i got the email to respond within 24 hours with a reservation number… but how do i know they wont charge me for my stay at the Kayak rate? it doesnt say anything about a free night?

they just changed the price now. this is ridiculous! i have pdfs from today of the price still being lower.

Did the rate need to be online? I got a quote from a travel agent/luxury hotels website. They are telling me it needs to be online now. Where does it say that in the terms?

I got the same email as you did Dan and i booked the hotel ($495 after tax) and sent them the confirmation number. They said i had 24 hours to respond. Will i hear from them soon or should i call to make sure they’re processing it?

@Jose: Seems legit… there are taxes of up to $150 pp, $300 total. Making it $399 and subject to availability. It’s valid for 12 months. Now that sounds more like it! They also don’t guarantee all dates, especially peek season. They basically have deal with hotel and airlines to fill empty spots.
I think it’s still a great deal!
Btw, they have an “A-” bbb score, which is very good (http://www.bbb.org/southern-nevada/business-reviews/online-travel-agency/next-stage-in-las-vegas-nv-90013873).

To anybody who thinks they were wrongly denied a free night:
Call 866-500-0368 and speak to Magaly Johnson, she’s the supervisor of the best rate dept. and very nice and professional.
Got her to approve my claim after I got an email saying they couldn’t find my price anymore (emailed her the link and simply told her to SCROLL DOWN!).

@Dan: my reservation is for this coming monday night i sent emailed them back my confirmation number however i have not received anything back from them and when i call the seem to have no idea about this. what do i do??

Dan, do u have a link to the actual terms and conditions of this deal (i actually searched around and reviewed comments before bothering you, unlike some)?
they say it is only one offer per household, so even though me and the wife have 2 separate spg accounts, we could only get one of our free nights. do you think the deal was really one per household or one per customer?

I got approved for the Aloft (and the W but since I sent my Aloft claim first I got the Aloft- oh well but it’s still cat 5) I wanted to know- when booking my room on spg, the flex rate is 10 dollars more than the regular rate that I originally sent the claim for.. should I do the flex rate and risk them noticing that the rate I sent the claim for was 10 dollars less or do the regular rate and risk them not honoring the free night.. Thanks!

I got the westin, but for the superior room, and now there are no more superior rooms available only deluxe, what should I reserve (and that’s more expesive) ?

thanks dan! going to the westin times square tomorrow night for free! on my email confirmation from the hotel they wrote that the room rate is subject to over 14% tax. will i have to pay that?

Thanks, nice night at the W Downtown, but they didn’t give me credit for the one night stay (since it was complimentary as opposed to a SPG point stay), and they didn’t give me an SPG Gold amenity. it was free so i wasn’t in the mood of fighting.
