Marriott is offering discounts on select resorts with special rates promo code: D3Q
You can save 15% off regular rates on 3 night stays and 20% off on 4+ night stays through 9/30 with the code. Rooms booked with this code are non-refundable more than a day after booking. Taxes and resort fees are extra, continue to the final booking page for the total prices.
Valid South Florida resorts include the:
- S. Regis Bal Harbour
- W South Beach
- Royal Palm South Beach Miami, a Tribute Portfolio Resort
- Marriott Stanton South Beach
- W Miami
The W South Beach is a great hip hotel with multiple pools, which is a nice bonus. I’ve even been upgraded here to a Mega Suite here with a private plunge pool. However it’s off the beaten path for kosher restaurants.
The S. Regis is the more luxurious hotel, though it just has one main pool. However you won’t need a car as you can easily walk from the S. Regis Bal Harbour to dozens of great kosher eateries! There are even restaurants that accept prepaid reservations for Shabbos or you can buy phenomenal Shabbos take-out food from Kosher Kingdom. Or you can eat lunch at The Shul’s kiddush in Bal Harbour that is so extravagant it was featured on the front page of the Wall Street Journal.
On the other hand, I prefer the beach in front of the W South Beach to the S. Regis Bal Harbour.
The S. Regis Bal Harbour is typically far more expensive than the W South Beach, but they are heavily discounting their rooms this summer.
Their winter rates can be astronomical:
Summer rates are typically less for good reason. The Florida heat can be pretty miserable in the summer. On the plus side, you can actually get into a nice kosher restaurant without needing to make reservations weeks in advance like you have to in January.
This summer’s rates are now much cheaper than I’ve seen in the past and they stack with this promo!
Here is an example of some of the amazing rates you can nab at the S. Regis for this summer with the promo code on dates like 6/23-6/27, 6/30-7/4, and more:
Here are rates at the W South Beach:

I was just in that area today, weather is wonderful at the moment…
Are they only valid for Florida?
Valid for other resort locations also. Try it out and post what you find š
Can this be booked with points?
Sure, but not on sale.
āOn the other hand, I prefer the beach in front of the W South Beach to the S. Regis Bal Harbourā what??? The W beach is typical local Miami jam packed beach Val harbor is nice and quiet!
I find the Bal Harbour beach to have tons of seaweed and the sand isn’t as soft as South Beach. Just MHO though.
Didn’t help that the last time I was in Bal Harbour I got stung by a Jellyfish. Painful!
Miami in general is not at all what I’m looking for in a beach.
over Peasach I saw a shark in the water in surfside
If it’s the video going around Whatsapp it was a Tarpon, apparently often mistaken for a shark https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Atlantic_tarpon
i agree, the beach in miami is nothing to write home about.. must go to carribean for a good beach
FYI St Regis has 2 big pools; Second one is on a different level, adults only
Isn’t that one for residence owners?
Either way, W SoBe lets kids in their “hidden” pool.
There are 2, one for owners and one for hotel guests
3 pools total
Correct. One main one. One adults only (can’t even bring a baby in a carriage to that area). One for residents only.
is this correct promo code? they are saying needs to be 4 digits.
Yes. You’re doing something wrong.
Where do I put in the promo code?
Screenshot added.
It’s only giving me 15% off even though I have a search on 5 nights?
It’s 15 or 20% off the standard rate, not the member rate.
W south Beach is a very goyish area not for a frum yid
I thought all of Florida is not for a frum Yid š
depends where u go and what time u go to the pool in the am and late afternoon there empty
i agree its may more prust
Whatās makes an area goyish or not? Whether there are kosher restaurants or not?
They mean not religious and thus with women that aren’t dressed modestly. “Goyish” would be used to describe an area with non religious Jews as well.
best bonvoy post so far since the merger!
regarding the st.regis bal harbour does it pay to upgrade from the regular luxe room to the grand luxe room? on the website it shows the same square footage
Probably a better view.
Gotcha,thanks
one more qusetion, if im a silver elite member needing 5 more nights to gold will they upgrade from luxe to grand luxe if i ask politely
ymmv(your mazel may vary
Couldn’t book that rate in Bal Harbour for Shavuot
