The overwater villas found in the Maldives and Bora Bora are the stuff that dreams are made of. You wake up surrounded by the warm ocean which is teeming with incredible sealife. There’s something magical about taking the steps from your villa into the ocean and watching the stars at night.
They’re also extremely expensive and very tough to obtain with points.

Note that it can take 24 hours to fly from the USA until you reach a resort in Maldives as you need to connect somewhere to reach Male (MLE) and then you’ll need to wait for a seaplane to bring you from the Male airport to your resort. That seaplane will also set you back some $250 per kid or $500 per adults plus tax on top of your tickets to Male. It’s an exhausting and expensive trip, but the water is truly stunning there and the isolation and relaxation is impossible to describe.

Is the only way to get Hilton points through the Citi Hilton credit card & stays? Do any other credit cards transfer points to Hilton honors?
The Citi cards are turning into AMEX cards next month.

The exact policy for your dates will be listed before you confirm. It seems to range from 14-60 days advance notice required to cancel without penalty.

No. Each Maldives hotel is on its own island and requires a seaplane to get there.
any chance to book a beach villa and hope to get upgraded in ph with discoverist and hilton diamond ? or its in the bechinah of ein soimchen al haneis?
They upgrade from the beach villa to the beach villa with a pool, extremely long odds of getting an overwater unless you pay the upgrade fee.
Do you know if this a permanent thing, or just a promo? I stayed here this past February and had to pay US$350/nt for upgrade.

The conrad beach villa is the same amount of points as the overwater with this deal.
The PH doesn’t upgrade from beach to overwater.
dan did you hear that they maybe coming out with a new mavic drone in the next year or so? i would buy one jut dont want to pay so much and then find out theres a better one and whats your opinion on the cheap drones ? are they worthelss even if they have a cheap model that has a 10 mp camera ? ty
There’s always going to be something better when it comes to tech. For now, the Mavic is the best overall drone out there for most people.
