The status match is available until 10/31/22 or while supplies last and matched status will be valid through 3/31/23.

No. Status does not get you in for domestic itineraries on skyteam unlike star alliance or oneworld for foreign carriers Status
Ok, if you are correct there is very little incentive to join with the status. However their website says their Plat members have Delta Lounge access. Is that only international?

Latam is a really lousy airline, their execs used to support antisemitism in South America.
Latam tends to cancel or delay flights without compensation. Luggage often is delayed. Upgrades rarely clear, access to lounges in EZE SCL GRU is time restricted, at LIM is outsourced and so in MIA. Iberia does not allow extra luggage but SCL only.
