Back in 2019 American and Hyatt teamed up for reciprocal benefits:
- AA elites earn 1 AA mile for every eligible dollar spent at qualifying Hyatt properties.
- AA top-tier ConciergeKey members will receive top-tier World of Hyatt Globalist status.
- Hyatt elites earn 1 Hyatt point mile for every eligible dollar spent on qualifying American flights.
Additionally many Hyatt Globalists, myself included, were given AA Executive Platinum status. That status has been extended due to COVID and will be fairly easy to extend yet again.
You can link your AA and Hyatt account here on AA.com or here on Hyatt.com.
Linked members can register for a challenge to earn reciprocal elite status. Don’t register until you’re ready to travel or until registration closes!
- AAdvantage elite members can register by 9/30/21 and get Hyatt Explorist status for 90 days.
