You need to first sign into your Hertz account in order to share status.
President’s Circle status can be shared with 2 friends and Five Star status can be shared with 1 friend.
You can gift status through 12/31 and the gifted status will be valid from 1/13/25-12/31/25.
Of course, you can also get car rental status from your credit card.
President’s Circle benefits include skip the counter and e-return, bonus points, the widest vehicle selection, guaranteed upgrades, free additional driver, and more!

I’m a President’s Circle member, although I only rent from Hertz a few times a year. Nonetheless, after a recent 2-day rental where I did nothing to their car, I received an email from them asking me whether I damaged their cars’ speedometer, license plate and a small scratch on the windshield. This is insane. No USA rental car company can stay in business if they hassle their best customers by claiming they’ve done weird, random minor damage to their cars.
Have you been paying attention to how poorly Hertz has been treating their customers over the last number of years?
From renting out cars that they reported stolen to repossessing cars that they rented out to not honoring reservations and charging several hundred percent more to repossessing a car that didn’t belong to them and so on and so forth.
Which is why friends don’t let friends rent from Hertz.
I’ve rented from Sixt MIA airport. A few days after returning I recieved an email about damage to vehicle. I was quite confused. Now after checking Google reviews I see this is a regular occurrence. Seems to be their way of making revenue. Can’t imagine they get repeat customers though. Seems to be the case for other locations as well. I’m surprised this is not a big news story. Funny thing is I purchased their CDW so don’t understand how they would gain off it, unless it’s just a computerized system where every 3rd car ot wtvr gets called out on damage. Craziness!!

My friend has a VentureX and he told me you go into the app and you go to benefits and one of them is Presidential circle and you do enroll now and it redirects you to a site and he said you can enroll unlimited times with new info as it doesn’t have any connection, and he also enrolled me with that way
