I rented from them in Miami on a 2 day trip in the summer, and though the weather wasn’t, the car rental was a real treat. I called them upon landing and they picked me up from the terminal so that I was able to avoid taking the train to them. After the rental they dropped me off in my rental car right back to the terminal.
They have now added their 15th pickup location in Miami/South Beach.
The only car they rent is the fun to drive, all-wheel drive Audi A4. It comes with built-in GPS, satellite radio, bluetooth, leather seats, and even a free WiFi hotspot. Unlimited miles are included in every rental.
You can even request car seats at no additional charge!
You can rent from Silvercar as long as you are at least 22 years old with no underage fees.
I rented a car from Avis in Miami and got hit with a $17.20 bill for a two 70 cent tolls that I apparently passed on SR112. That’s $1.40 for the tolls and $15.80 for an “eToll Convenience Fee.” Convenient for whom is the question?
Silvercar only passes on the toll itself, no convenience fees!
If you don’t refill the fuel you’ll only be charged a $5 flat rate fee on top of the actual local price of the gas needed to fill up the car. No need to jeopardize missing your flight just to avoid paying $10/gallon for fuel.
Both AMEX and Chase cover the CDW insurance for a Audi A4, just select personal coverage when renting and write the name of your bank.
You only pay when you pickup the car, nothing is charged beforehand and there are no cancellation fees ever.

I need the car in Miami for 50hrs- what will happen if I make a reservation for 2 days and return it 2hrs late? Do I get charged an entire additional day (at $49/day)

Just tried to sign up and kept being told to click for a confirmation code to be sent to my email. Then I clicked the link in the email and kept being taken back to the site login, filled in the info and was told the confirmation code would be sent to me…Very frustrating!

Can you take a one way from EWR to Brooklyn or vice versa
Rented from them in new york. was surprised to get charged sale and rental tax on ezpass tolls.
I will be in Florida in three weeks. We fly into JAX and out of MCO. Unfortunately, there are no Silvercar locations at either of those airports. Would anyone have recommendations in regards to the best company to go with for a one way rental between those two cities. I am just looking for the best value.

What’s the pickup procedure in LAS? Do you have to take the shuttle to the car rental area like all other companies?
SilverCar reps saying at FLL airport pickup is from car rental area and not from terminal

you can try using Fox car rental – they have great rates and if you’re part of an ebates/cash back program it is eligible. I don’t know exactly what locations they have but might be worth checking out
hi trying to rent a car in fort lauderdale for one day free. you write it is 39 a day but the are charging me 69 a day and codes are not stackable how do i go about getting the 39 a day plus 0ne free day
@Brandon: Try autoslash.com. Be aware it will usually say you have to ask for a quote, but one is usually emailed within 10 minutes. Also it only let’s you quote one size car but the quote will cover all sizes.

It asks for your insurance company, not bank. Also, I thought my new Sapphire covers all the insurances. What gives?
Also, they’re offering $39 a day (plus farshidiner extra charges and taxes). Do I get it for less by entering one of the codes? It’s confusing about the codes and where do I enter them?

We’re traveling to Miami on 1/21 will arrive at around 1am on the 22nd… they close at midnight! darn. I called & spoke to the local branch and they said they cannot accomodate us.
Any other ideas for a nice car for 3 days, at similar rates?

They say: If your flight is delayed, please let us know. We do our best to accommodate late arrivals after our closing time; But when I called them about making a reservation for after hours in LAX they told me they can’t accommodate me. Any suggestion?

Are the 2 day rental/1 day free codes a one time use only? What’s to stop people from booking for 8 days in 2 day increments, and getting 4 of those days free?
I looked at their site. Runs $119 a day, minus 30% for first time customer. Any way to get cheaper?
I was going to rent from Silvercar from FLL but I’ve now learned I’d have to take a shuttle bus to get to the place where they will pick me up and take me to my car. Crazy!
