Lyft is usually cheaper than Uber for me.
me too
Usually more expensive for me
It changed it used to be for me. Uber is lately giving me 20% off coupons and Lyft increased the rates to increase profits.
The question is- if we buy gift cards with Lyft, will they start charging us more for rides because the gift card is in the account, the way that Uber does?
I keep hearing this but when I went to Vegas last October I saw no signs of this happening.
I prefer Uber and Uber Eats and have an Uber subscription, so I will continue to use Uber, despite this monthly credit on my reserve card. But, I hate Uber’s rating system. Since 10/7, MANY Muslim drivers in my neighborhood one-star Jewish riders as their way to punish us. Since I ride so sparsely with Uber (once a month), I am able to track who gives the one stars and then one star them back.
This has happened to me too.
I got a sensitivity training in my email once.
Lyft is usually cheaper for me . Last time I rode with Uber , they charged me for the tolls that driver incurred AFTER I was dropped off !! Good bye – Uber !
Lyft is much better. I had a negative experience with Uber, chasing down some Marriott points that I was supposed to earn after meeting the terms of an offer, and Uber Help simply ignored my request and closed it. I opened up the case again, and they closed it a second time. Basically, they ignored me. And their Customer Support during rides is abysmal. Buh-bye Uber. You’re not worth it.
What does Ritz get?
Lyft used to be cheaper, lately is Uber cheaper.
Credit can’t be used to buy gift cards. It gets applied as $10 off your next eligible ride.
This is what the email says:
How to use your ride credit:
Receive your ride credit
Enjoy your $10 ride credit starting on the first day of each month. It’ll be available in your Lyft account by 6:00 AM EST.
Ride and save
The credit will automatically apply to eligible rides.
Use it or lose it
Any unused credit will expire at the end of the month.
Lyft they are cheaper and more reliable its just a shame that they don’t have a site I don’t always have access to the app.
