I just signed up for Zipcar, how does Carpingo stack up against them?
Great for manhattan people
carpingo is just in Brooklyn right now, as per their web site.
from my perspective, won’t be useful until they grow a bit.

that ended at 3pm and you had to go to the tradeshow
And the driving credit expires after 120 days.
Carpingo is also Brooklyn owned by a shomer shobbos guy who I happen to know.Zipcar is owned by a national company.If you are getting a great deal wouldn’t you rather help someone from our community?

They say that if u become a member by Zip Car for 1 year it helps for your insurance should be cheap when u buy a car or lease, would this also work her by Carpingo?

Bought the deal in April.
It’s great if you live in Brooklyn.
It is much cheaper per hour than ZipCar and there are cars spread all around Brooklyn.
New locations are added all the time.
Works the same as zipcar, they run a background check and then mail you a card to unlock your car once you make a reservation.
Gas and insurance is included in the hourly fee.
Make sure not to return late, you can usually extend for more time if you’re running late
