Earn United Miles For Renting From Turo

Turo allows you to rent cars from other people, with many offering airport drop-offs and pickups. Sadly, credit card car rental coverage doesn’t cover Turo, though you can purchase insurance through the site or check what your personal auto insurance policy will cover.

Register via the link above and you’ll earn 5 United miles per dollar on your first Turo rental and 1 mile per dollar on subsequent rentals.

Always be sure to check your card offers for more Turo savings. For example, currently AMEX and Chase have $30 off $150 Turo offers and Citi has a $25 off $150 Turo offer.

Have you rented from Turo before? How was your experience?

Is the United explorer the best for someone who travels about twice a year within America/central America and wants checked baggage?

My Turo experiences have been EXCELLENT. (My personal auto policy covers). It’s just extremely important to rent from reputable people I.e. have great reviews.

I though geico does not cover?

i wonder

is it possible to do the same bogus play dan did on ebay years ago by buying his own “services” to earn miles?

Dave

Well, personal insurance policies in some states will cover a rental from Turo, in New Jersey the policies do not cover Turo and you need to take out insurance separately. That comes from the Turo website. I was going to try it but taking out insurance separately makes the cost savings. Negligible.
