AMEX announced today that they will open their largest ever Centurion Lounge in Atlanta tomorrow.

The lounge will be a whopping ~26,000 square feet and feature multiple outdoor areas, including a garden terrace and open tarmac views. That’s significantly larger than any other Centurion lounge, which will hopefully help with overcrowding issues.

The lounge will be open from 6am-11pm daily. It is located in Concourse E near gate E11 and is accessible from all terminals in the airport.

Inside the lounge, The Reserve by American Express is the first dedicated whiskey bar in a Centurion Lounge. Guests can also choose from over 20 classic and new American whiskeys. The bar offers a modern take on a classic whiskey bar with dark finishes and caramel leather seating and connects to an outdoor lounge area.

The lounge will also feature dedicated workstations and phone booths, premium restrooms and shower suites, and complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi.

Embracing Atlanta’s reputation as “the city in the forest”, the lounge’s art and design feature commissioned artwork from local artists and a relaxing ambiance accentuated by a 50-year-old olive tree and a 3,850 square foot custom light sculpture.

The multiple landscaped outdoor seating areas are equipped to enjoy year-round.

Of course, AMEX Platinum cardholders can also access any of the 9 (!) Delta SkyClubs in Atlanta, which also feature hot kosher meals, but those are only available when flying on Delta.

AMEX Business Platinum cardholders and The Platinum Card® from American Express consumer cardholders can access Centurion lounges for free. Additional Platinum cardholders that have an annual fee can also access the lounges for free. Adult guests cost $50 and children 2-17 cost $30. If you spend $75K/year on your Platinum card you can bring 2 free guests on your visits.

Delta Reserve for Business and Delta SkyMiles® Reserve American Express Card consumer cardholders can access Centurion lounges for free when flying on a Delta flight purchased on their Reserve card. Additional Reserve cardholders that have an annual fee can also access the lounges for free. Adult guests cost $50 and children 2-17 cost $30.

Note that effective 2/1/23, those cards won’t come with free guests unless you spend $75K/year or pay $50 for adults or $30 for kids.

What’s the difference

Dan why didn’t you buy the super ball ad with points!

Emes

Yeah! Wouldn’t that be an awesome way to use points! How many points per dollar do you think Dan can get on that?

Justmeha

“but those are only available when flying on Delta”
And not in basic!

Daniel

I stopped in today. It is stunning! I love the outdoor seating areas and the modern vibe. There is no real kosher food options. They are working on it. @dan any ideas how to get more kosher food at lounges?
