A free flight on Jetblue requires 100 Trueblue points.
Jetblue’s Trueblue 2 mileage program launches in November and will award points based on the amount of money that you spend on tickets instead of the distance of the flights that you take. This is likely to be the last chance to buy miles to top up your current Trueblue account.
Just login to your Trueblue account on Jetblue’s website and click on “Buy Trueblue Points.”
-There is a 7.5% tax rate and a $20 transaction fee.
-There is a minimum purchase of 10 points per transaction.
-There is a maximum purchase of 90 points per transaction.
-A Trueblue member is limited to purchasing 95 points for themselves in a calendar year.
-A Trueblue member is limited to 150 points per calendar year between receiving points purchased by someone else and purchases made by themselves.

Does JEtBlue charge taxes/fees on reward tickets? Particularly to non-US destinations in the Caribbean?

You can search for award flights right from Jetblue’s website and it will tell you the tax amount. Just click on the link in this post and search for the award that you want.
A RT from JFK-Nassau, Bahamas came out to about $56 in taxes.
