Effective today Delta has eliminated fees for booking an award ticket within 21 days of the flight.
United eliminated the fees last July.
Being that airlines often don’t release award seats until close to the flight this is a very valuable change.
Delta is also raising change and redeposit fees on award ticket from $100 to $150.
