Alaska Airlines has extended their flight change fee waiver for tickets purchased until 3/31/21.
Alaska previously announced the permanent elimination of change fees on all non-basic economy tickets systemwide, but this change means that basic economy fares will remain free to change for flights booked until at least 3/31/21.
You can cancel flights and get a credit to your Alaska Wallet.
Alaska has not yet decided if they will permanent eliminated change fees on international awards booked on partner airlines, but this waiver will mean that those fees and redeposit fees are waived on all awards booked until at least 3/31/21.
Delta and United have also extended their basic economy waiver through 3/31/21. JetBlue’s waiver runs through 2/28/21. American and Hawaiian have yet to extend their waiver past 12/31, but I’d expect them to fall in line as well.
