Seems like you need to have a Business Acct set up ahead of time for this? through your Travel Manager?
Still havent got my 2000 points from the previous promo?!
Just signed up as a travel manager with my advantage account it only asked me for a la address for physical address I left the mailing address that was on my account till than.
I hope the miles post
Hey dan a couple of questions…
1. do i still get points on my regular Aadvantage number?
2. will my platinum level benefits still be available?
3. can i book a cheap lax-las round trip and then get a free flight anywhere?
4. can i put both numbers on a reservation, Advantage personal and business number?
Thanks.
I already bought my pesach ticket, will this work for that ticket or do I need to buy the flight after signing up?
does it cost money to sign up?
Just signed up, no problem. doesn’t cost anything.
you earn AA miles for you individual account as well as the biz account: https://www.businessextraa.com/SignUpAction.do
Dan,
Can you pay for the flight using gift cards and still qualify for free flight?
Does the original flight have to be some sort of a full fare code ticket or can it be any type?
Thanks!
I never got my points for the previous promo either
Need to know if I still get points on my regular AA #?
@Elli: Definitely still get points on top of regular AA miles in personal account. Points hardly rack up, and the only value (unless you book tons of tickets) is in these promos. The rules are much more specific than regular AA and there is little or no transparency. Things take a while to post and may not qualify for some trivial unexplained reason. That being said, I registered and will follow the instructions, and hopefully get a free flight out of this. Fyi, for 2400 points (the free flight is 2000 points) you get AA Gld status! Don’t know of any other way to “buy” AA status.

My wife and I are flying for Pesach to LAX.
I guess we should both separately set up a business account and we would both be eligible to get a free ticket.
Correct?
and how does that work- do I give them both numbers when Im flying? So far they havent asked for my regular AA # so how will i get points on both?
I didn’t get the promo points last time either
on the link after you sign up you could get a promo for double points
“just asking” once you make a biz extra account ANYONE can use you biz account # when purchasing a ticket and they will be like your “employee” and you will get the Biz Extraa points (they get the miles though) You want the points regardless. Good stuff. Ive had Biz Extraa for years. You get points by dollars spent not by miles flown. Hope that helps. But you can have anyone use your Biz Extraa number and the money spent on those tix go towards your point accrual.
As for this deal I don’t think it applies to existing members of Biz Extraa
@avremi:
Note: Called about points not posting from previous promo. Was told takes 6 to 8 weeks after end of quarter (which ended march 31) so will post mid to end may!
