VIP One operates a landside departure lounge in JFK’s Terminal 1 that offers expedited TSA security access. It’s located behind counter E/F.
VIP One’s lounge and services are typically used by people that don’t want to wait in Terminal 1’s notoriously long security lines. But until now, you had to cough up $45 per person to use their services.
However, Priority Pass now gives free access for members and guests to use VIP One’s lounge and expedited security services!

John F Kennedy Airport’s Terminal 1 serves Aeroflot, Aero Mexico, Air China, Air France, AirPlus Comet, Alitalia, Austrian Airlines, Cayman Airways, China Airlines, China Eastern, Japan Airlines, Korean Air, Lufthansa, Olympic, Royal Air Maroc, Saudi Arabian Airlines and Turkish. It contains gates 1-11.

Can one go through security in Terminal 1 and transfer to another terminal (eg. terminal 4)?

Do you still get TSA precheck benefits in the expedited line? And how does this line compare to the precheck line?
I don’t believe T1 has a PreCheck line, it merges into the regular line.
You can ask the TSA agent for a PreCheck paper that should allow you to request the metal detector and keep your shoes on.
This will be shorter than other lines.
