Update 7/14/24: American Airlines is now also offering Biscoff cookies that are certified kosher parve on the packaging:
Share what other airlines you have seen KLBD Biscoff cookies on!
Originally posted 8/4/23.
Delta shares with DansDeals that their Lotus Biscoff Cookies, served as free snacks on Delta flights, are now certified kosher parve by Kosher London Beis Din (KLBD), which is a CRC recognized acceptable agency.
Delta began serving Lotus Biscoff Cookies on their flights some 40 years ago, and they were an instant hit among passengers. By 2019, the airline was serving 85 million Lotus Biscoff Cookie packages annually. It’s great to see their signature in-flight snack become kosher certified!
The kosher cookies will have the KLBD symbol on the back, so be sure to confirm that is there.
The KLBD confirms with DansDeals that these cookies are not Pas Yisroel. They also hope to have all Lotus Biscoff Cookies in the US to be certified kosher in the future, but that’s not the case as of now.
The KLBD also confirms that other airlines’ Lotus Biscoff Cookies are not under their supervision.
If you want to see all Lotus Biscoff Cookies in the US produced under kosher supervision, be sure to provide feedback to Lotus.
Several other airlines also serve Lotus Biscoff Cookies onboard, so if you want them to carry kosher Lotus Biscoff Cookies, be sure to contact Lotus and your favorite airline. The airlines are in the best position to request that their Lotus Biscoff Cookies also be kosher certified.
And finally, if you want to see the cookies be Pas Yisroel (Pas Yisroel and Cholov Yisroel are also known as super kosher in the industry, so you should ask for Pas Yisroel/Super Kosher to meet your needs), you can also provide feedback to Delta via the comment form and to Lotus via their contact form.
Of course, you can always buy imported Pas Yisroel Lotus Biscoff Cookies in your neighborhood kosher grocery store. My wife crushes Lotus Biscoff Cookies with Lotus Cookie Butter into ice cream for a delicious dessert treat.
Do you enjoy Lotus Biscoff Cookies?

Oh my goodness, Shehechiyau moment 🙂
Mamesh binyan beis hamikdosh lol . Shehechiyau on a biscuit ?
Yeshuas Hashem k’eref eiyin
If only they were pas yisroel
(Pas Yisroel and Cholov Yisroel are also known as super kosher in the industry, so you should ask for Pas Yisroel/Super Kosher to meet your needs)
Most interesting part.
This happened about a month ago. It’s been fantastic!
They have been phasing them in since May, but now it should be complete systemwide as the old stock has been used.
Still, always confirm the symbol is there.
Grr just flew Delta and didn’t bother checking.
Same
If the symbol is not there, but it has the exact same ingredients is it fine?
I just traveled on American and they served those. I decline. Maybe I should have checked it
Only the Delta ones are certified.
But definitely email American to request that they get theirs certified as Delta does.

These are guaranteed to make your flight a lot more elchanan
I was always curious what those taste like.
Thank Gd. One less thing i need to daven for forgiveness this rosh hashana. Been eating these for yrs.
No. You still need to ask for forgiveness for the years past. Just not next year.
Just booked delta to tlv for sukkos. Can’t wait!
Great reason to fly for Sukkos
Yup. Small price to pay for good lotus treat
Flew Delta yesterday didn’t think to check. B”h I survived with the almonds.
Interesting, I am eating products with KLBD Hashgucha ever since, now I’m reading that KLBD is a CRC recognized acceptable agency, the only issue is that I have no clue who CRC is, so maybe KLBD should recognize CRC as an acceptable agency so I could start eating products with CRC
What about the OU. Ever heard of them?
Unfortunately the big packs from Costco are still not kosher. You to spend a lot of money to get them. Either in a jewish store or by flying.
Write to Lotus!
Done!
No different than the Lotus Cookie Butter.
Non-Kosher available at the regular for Supermarket for $3.99
Kosher ones at the Kosher Supermarket – $9.99 !
Is it truly non kosher or nonsense? Do they actually have different ingredients or is it simply what you’d call a separate run but same ingredients.
Are they healthy?
Yes.
Sure…
Krispy Kreme had a limited edition Lotus donut that used the special kosher run certified by LBD.
you got me excited but only hidden in the article do you mention not PY – please add that to the headline! same for future! you are a lubavitcher and you have a large portion of PY “observant” readership so it’s an important detail to mention!
you usually say OU-D quite clearly – it’s not exactly the same, but for most intents and purposes it practically is
1. It’s in the post. In 2 dedicated paragraphs. A title can’t include every detail.
2. Saying it’s practically the same isn’t true. Ask your LOR about P”P while traveling and hungry. Certainly more Chabad Rabanim will permit P”P over C”S.
G”S!
100%. As someone who actually learned the halachos of PP. PP, especially while traveling, is probably muttar lechatchila, (as PY is not available). Whilst C”Y does not allow for such a dispensation.
Wait
Only because you don’t want to schlep 1 bag of cookies you will eat pas Akum ?
We chabad are machmir on this.
Obvious if the plane is late and you are really hungry or kids are hungry maybe maybe someone will give you a heter.
But comman!!
Can someone tell me what other snacks they provide on delta (JFK to LAX)? I’m traveling with kids and not sure what to they give and what I should pack. JetBlue always had a big variety…
Just flew
Confirmed that they have the kosher ones now
Will they be yoshon?
Yes, after Pesach they will all be Yoshon.
Simply hold on to the package for a few months.
The Pas Yisroel are Chasam Sofer Bnei Brak – not the best hechsher after the recent scandal…
Must be pretty new. Flew with them on a few flight over the past month and have yet to see that. Saw the standard pretzels, popcorn, nuts and..
Always good to see additional kosher items aboard.
Yup! Was pleasantly surprised to see on my AA flight today these cookies with KLBD hechsher
Fly American weekly and can confirm they have them
Also on Air Canada its klbd
The imported Pas Yisroel ones were certified by an Israeli Hashgacha that had just been found to have not been actually going down to be Mashgiach properly.
Ironically the “regular”ones might be more kosher than the PY ones
They’ve been Kosher in Israel for a long time!
