David Neeleman’s Breeze Airways is continuing its rapid growth in previously underserved markets.
2 weeks ago they announced they would add service to San Diego.
Today they announced they will add service to Denver, Greenville/Spartanburg, and Mobile.
Plus they will add 11 nonstop routes, including seasonally from Akron/Canton, OH to Los Angeles! I’d say that’s the LeBron James Express, except I doubt he flies commercial! 😀
Akron is a great alternate airport for Cleveland, so I’m thrilled to see them continuing to add routes from there. They will now fly from Akron to Charleston, Fort Myers, Hartford, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, New Orleans, Norfolk, Orlando, Providence, Raleigh/Durham, Tampa, and West Palm Beach.
Breeze has now announced 13 new cities for 2024, including Gulfport/Biloxi, MS, which
started on January 12, and Burlington, VT; Evansville, IN; Grand Junction, CO; Madison, WI; Myrtle Beach, SC; Ogden, UT; San Diego, CA; Stewart/Newburgh, NY; and Wilkes-
Barre/Scranton, PA, all starting by May, 2024.
Here are their new routes announced today, with sale fares valid on select flights through 1/29. All routes will be operated using new Airbus A220-300 aircraft with 3 classes of seating.

The airline’s typical A220s features first class seats, called “Nicest” seating, in a two-by-two configuration at the front of the plane, “Nicer” extra legroom seats, and “Nice” seats in a two-by-three seat configuration. First class seats will feature a whopping 39″ of seat pitch and 20.5″ wide seats and a footrest.
Family seating is free on all fares.
Breeze flights can be canceled up to 15 minutes before departure at no charge, with the funds valid for 2 years.
You can download the Breeze app for iOS or Android, signup for an account, and instantly get 500 BreezePoints, worth $5 for airfare.
Of course, as with airlines like Allegiant, Frontier, and Spirit, you can save even more by purchasing flights at the airport. Officially that’s only available on Tuesdays between 11am-1pm, though some readers have said that it also works on other days.
How much will you save?
Just click on “taxes and carrier fees” on that same checkout page. The carrier fee will be waived if you buy the flight at the airport, but that fee can vary by a lot, based on the route and date. I have seen them range from $10 to $90 on Breeze.
Have you flown on Breeze yet?

Are they specifically targeting routes from smaller airports? Is that how they keep costs down? Chances they will add HPN or ISP?
Correct. And where there’s less competition.
They already fly from HPN and ISP.
Unfortunately, they killed off their transcontinental routes from HPN as that airport has insane capacity and timing rules to limit traffic close to nil.
Oh didn’t realize the post only listed the new routes.
Still not tons of routes from NY. Would love to see ISP-MCO.
Bring back AirTrain!
I assume you mean AirTran?
Yes, I miss them dearly. I could write a book on all of the cool stuff I did with their program.
Yes. Typo.
Any chance they will start flying out of TTN?
That would be amazing. Frontier used to fly TTN to CLE, it was a quick and cheap choice and was full of frum families esp yom tov time
When you look at their route map, it makes perfect sense why they’re bleeding money at an astronomically high rate.
Serving “underserved” or smaller airports is one thing.
But flying both CAK-BDL and CAK-PVD? Investing in Baltia airlines is a more sound investment at this point.
why no airports for lakewood?
You only live once. Why waste a life in Lakewood…
an unnecessary dumb comment
Yawn. Wake me up when they fly out of JFK or LaGuardia.
Would love to see Breeze add a route to/from ERI (now that the airport is down to just one carrier – AA).
Impossible to fly straight to Jeff City, MO, choices are either STL or MCI which are both 2+ hrs away. I’d love to see more direct flights from the east coast to COU (which basically don’t exist)
Which airport in Los Angeles? LAX?
The only airport that’s called Los Angeles is LAX.
I haven’t heard of LGB, BUR, ONT, or SNA being called Los Angeles.
He’s probably indoctrinated by all that “ Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim “ rubbish
The Chabad House airline just doesn’t stop surprising us!
seems like a lot of EAS routes, lets see if they last.
