had 2 business class flights for 1/19 to LAX had to cancel them due to medical emergency do you think they would allow me to now change my dates?

I booked tix to milan on widerow united is telling me I can’t change times because they don’t have control of the ticket??? It’s a wideroe ticket. Any advice.

Tried to change my Thursday flight. I told them I got stuck in another state because of cancellation and don’t think I will make it to my flight. She tells me theres nothing I can do so I should just try to enjoy the state I am in or make it back on time for flight. lol

I just got off the phone with them and they said there’s nothing they can do to change Thursday flight

@Dan: I am on hold with them. My ticket was a priceline ticket with delta. Their lookin to see if they can even make a change. Thinking maybe instead of JFK to lax. Newark to lax. Also will have to change return flight

@mark, I just changed a thursday flight arriving changed from JFK to LGA, but that is not considered different arrival airport

Delta doesn’t fly Newark to LAX nonstop. But if you had a reason for getting to EWR easier my guess is they would try to accommodate.

@Dan: I noticed and gonna keep the same airports. Priceline giving me a hard time but said I might have to pay the fair difference for any change. Still on hold. Is this suppose to go through priceline or should Huca delta

You should be calling Delta.

@Dan: Priceline said they got approval and mentioned delta first sends everyone to deal with the provider but If you insist delta has to agree to make change for me. I was hoping I can change to Sunday morning flight but they mentioned u can only change to departure before midnight Saturday, is that correct or Sunday is included? Last flight out is at 8pm which would be tough but maybe possible.

Dude, I already told you several times that you should be calling Delta and speaking to a manager there.
Click on the Delta.com link and you’ll that Sunday the 26th is now allowed.

@Dan: k thanks. Looks like on link it lets u do it. But it does say rebooked travel must begin no later than 1/26 and it doesn’t say including 26 like paragraph before. Sorry for the confusion. Thanks again

what types of benefit is there to make changes?

I managed to change my trip from Thursday to Sunday which makes our trip planning so much easier without having to worry about shabbos!!! Thank you Dan for this amazing trip to the west coast for so cheap!!!

Somewhat unrelated – I had delta tickets from the price line glitch a few weeks ago. Trip was supposed to be from jan19-26 but decided not to confirm tickets because we ended up having an issue with the dates. On the 20th, I called to ask if it was possible to rebook and he said pick any day in 2014, doesn’t even need to be the same route (so long as its still the original departure and destination cities). Let me change the trip duration as well. Booked for presidents weekend to Hawaii in first class now.

@Dan- I booked my flight for today from NYC to Houston through CheapOair and they didn’t even send me an update that my flight was cancelled. On Tuesday morning, I happened to have looked in my old email to see if I can get the seats I wanted and it said “Update: Cancelled”. BH I attended your seminar in NJ and remembered to call and call and call until I get what I need. I wrote down the agents names of those I spoke to. After a 30 minute hold with United, they claimed no flights were available on Tuesday. LUCKILY, I had already looked up flights on United.com and wrote down the flight numbers of early flights that had seat availability. Having that as a counter immediately got me on a flight and I was one of the last united flights out of NY yesterday. Got an extra day in Houston! Thanks Dan!!

Delta allowed me to change a return ticket for next week from LAX to JFK for no charge even though I didn’t change the outbound ticket scheduled from JFK for today. Tnx Dan!!

any idea who will deliver kosher take out to LAX i have 2+ hour stop on the way to HNL Lunch time
