I am not seeing Paypal as a payment option with Walmart for the gift cards?

The $5 is deducted after the payment is made on the PayPal side.
The option was not there when I followed the link for the ecard. I went back to the Walmart.com and ended up getting a plastic $5 card with free delivery… and there I had the regular checkout options and was able to use
Paypal and got it for free.
Thanks for the tip! After choosing the physical card, I could use PayPal checkout.

I received two $5 from PayPal… it allow one on pc order and one on my phone.
