American Express is always running fantastic promotions. Along with their incredible purchase protections it makes having their cards quite valuable.
After logging onto my online account and clicking on my Starwood Preferred Guest® Credit Card from American Express I have an offer to get a $5 credit for spending $5 on iTunes.
I actually have the offer on 3 of my Starwood cards. By opening all 3 cards in their own tabs I successfully saved the offer to all 3 cards. You can confirm that the offer was successfully saved by clicking on “my offers.”
Not everyone is going to see the offer, but it’s definitely worth checking!

Will this work for gift cards?
Checked all my accounts, nothing. Why don’t they give everyone the same offers ?
Got this on one acct. also got a fairrmont free night (usually on 3 night stay).
Got it for 1 SPG card and 1 Blue Cash Preferred. Thanks!
Unfortunately I have a lot of gift card credit on my iTunes account & according to Apple this credit will be used before any credit card is charged. Any idea how to make a credit card purchase w/o using the gift card credit first? Only idea I have is to set up an account for my spouse and have her spend the $5.
None here.
@Jim: yes. Buy a gift card. You can’t buy a gift card with existing credit
Is there any way to get for an au?
If I got it do au’s also have it?
If you don’t see it in offers, I have had success in the past by calling Amex to give me the promo. Give it a try.
Any way to buy a $5 gift card? I am getting a message that it needs to be $10 minimum.
@SjcRussell: Thanks! Missed that I could buy gift cards from the iTunes store. (Anyone else: click on “Send iTunes Gifts”)
@Aha1: I believe $10 is the lowest amount. I’ll still take 50% off.
Got it on my Amex Costco True Rewards card.
I had it on my Green card, SPG business, and Blue Cash Preferred.(not on costco, plat, or Business Gold rewards).
Dan: you did 3 like a “3bm”? I saw the offers on different cards but after I saved on one card it disappeared from the other cards.
@ek:
“By opening all 3 cards in their own tabs I successfully saved the offer to all 3 cards.”
@Dan: Thanks. Did 4 on my wife’s account!
@Dan:
Does that only work for 3 different account? or can you do 3 if you have authorized users on same account?
@dan if i have a few au how can i open diff tabs for each card?
