@Michael: Yes, you will get a $500 bill after the 26 weeks and they will garnish your wages if you don’t pay.

Once I pick the WSJ option they send me to a page to complete a survey…. If I don’t complete it will i still receive the paper?

like @free stuff! I am also faced with a decision, do I have to sign up for RewardsGold membership, refer 2 friends or complete 2 surveys and 6 product reviews?

I did follow the disable/enable script instructions.

Go to preferences, uncheck enable java script, click on Dan’s link, Go back to preferences and click enable java script, fill out form and press submit.

Steps for Chrome:

Step 1: Go to chrome://settings/content
Step 2: Under “JavaScript”, click on “Manage exceptions…”. Under “Hostname pattern”, type in “[*.]rewardsgold.com”, and choose “Block” for the Behavior.
Step 3: Click “Done”.
Step 4: Click on any of the links below to order your free subscription.
Step 5: Enable scripting (the same way you disabled it in Step 2.)
Step 6: Fill out the 1 page form with your billing address and select the free subscription.
Step 7: Wait between 2-14 weeks for your subscription to start coming. You won’t get any email confirmation.

I tried to do this last time but never received the subscription. How do I know if I’ve completed this successfully? Its just taking me to a page that says thank you for visiting rewards gold, with a list of magazines.

@Drsg: Another household member should sign up for this offer. Find out what date the current subscription expires. As soon as you start to receive two copies delivered, the other household member should call 1-800-Journal and ask them to suspend the new subscription until the date the first subscription expires (or perhaps a week or two beyond that because they tend to deliver beyond the expiration date with the hope that you will renew).

Uh.. what about being nice and just filling out their surveys to get the free subscription?

It takes 5-10 minutes and doesn’t take advantage of the fact that they are willing to send you a free subscription to the WSJ.. am I missing something? It costs this company money to send you your subscription. Is it right to skip their two short surveys and trick them into paying for you? Just food for thought.
