I just got 75000 Choice Points for my useless continental miles.

Stern, it wasn’t starbucks, it was for coffee shops in general. Consult a Rav in all matters of halacha, don’t go off of articles alone.
The article was written by rav hamchshir and it was specifacly for starbucks, though it probably applies to all coffee shops. “and the g-d fearing person will be careful”

I said there are $350 hotels rooms for 20,000 points, but I’ve never claimed that they are beautiful.
That being said they do have some very good locations in NYC, use tripadvisor.com to find the best ones.
The other option is to redeem points for their premium hotels-see the original post for more info.
