Samsung Pay is the best thing since sliced bread. No NFC compatibility required on the merchants end. Can be used with any magnetic stripe reader.

I used it today. Faster than taking out your wallet, removing your card and swiping.

For those of you who have rooted phones, you must update to the latest version of Android and lose your root in order for the Samsung Pay app to work. I recommend using the Smart Switch software for PC from Samsung to back up and restore your content.

Have an s6 Edge and it says the promo is expired. It worked for my brothers note 5 last month. Are you sure s6 and s6 Edge were part of this? I believe initially they were not.

Will not work with Note 4?

I just went through this it took me 20 min and they wouldnt accept my phone’s IMEI. Also you should purchase your phone no sooner than between october 28! Waste of time

it originally told me it didnt accept it i submitted it again without changing anything and it worked

@Brice: I had the same problem, then I put in the IMEI # with the spaces in between and it worked.

live rep says it hasnt rolled out yet on cricket.

When I attempted to download the Samsung ay app I saw that by accepting to download you give them full access to your phone. They can read through and delete txt and calls they can change networks and delete memory and info on simcard

@mark: The international version doesn’t have the Samsung Pay capability yet (G920i).

I’m not sure if there is a way around it yet.

If you don’t have an international model, but have one of the above phones, check for a software update: go to setting > about phone > Software update > Update now

It’s telling me that in order to install the Samsung pay app I need a software update. But upon trying to update my phone errors out. This happened a bunch of times.

Can I activate samsung pay over a computer and add a card?
