If you want to avoid having to take a long survey to get the subscription you can follow these steps before clicking the link below. In Internet Explorer click on Settings>Internet Options>Security>Custom Level. Then scroll about 80% of the way down to “Scripting” and click on “Disable” under active scripting. Click OK at the bottom to confirm the change. Then click on the link below to order your free subscription. Afterwards be sure to take the same steps to re-enable your active scripting.
Free 39 Week Subscription To The Wall Street Journal
I get tons of free magazines and have been getting my daily Wall Street Journal fix for years for free via Rewards Gold. I alternate the name on the subscription between my family members.
After following the instructions above you will just enter your name and address, click on the free WSJ subscription, and submit the page. You won’t get any kind of email confirmation and there’s no need to verify your email address.
Allow anywhere from 2-12 weeks for the subscription to start.

What about the workaround for Mozilla users?
I signed up for this to last time Dan told us about it. I have suspended my delivery a number of times which is extending the life of it. I am really only interested in the digital, so I figure I will keep suspending the paper delivery
DAN- does this work for the other magazines listed their as well?
Thanks Dan. How do I get access to the digital Subscription?
Anyone know how and why Rewards Gold gives this stuff away without really caring if we do the survey or not. Any idea Dan?
It is almost as if the surveys are a joke…they allow the link to work to bypass the surveys.
thanks!
Is there a way to skip the survey using safari?
Thanks! Any way to any get of the other magazines?
@Reuven:
in safari–>preferences–>security–>untick enable javascript
@jack: Curious as well. Anyone know how to activate the digital subscription? Thank you.
thanks got it last time!
The link says renewals will not be honored, but Dan and others have mentioned getting it several times. Are you using different nicknames / emails or do they really not even check?
@Dave:
Doubt RG pays for it. The magazines/newspapers just need to get up their numbers so they can charge more for ads without cannibalizing their paid subscribers.
@Bob:
I rotate between family members.
I never give real emails for this kind of stuff.
I probably should’ve read the post before I clicked through and spent 10min on those stupid survey questions
Any tips for other magazines?
Thanks, unfortunately I used one of my “working” email – hope I won’t get overloaded with spam now…. Wishful thinking, ha?
Is it necessary to change the name of the family member after doing this in the past, or is that just something you do to be sure? Thanks!
Why do I only see join RewardsGold program page? There is no place for name and address, and submit button. Can anyone tell me what I did wrong? Thanks!
Do you have to refer friends to RewardGold for this offer? Thanks!

@Karen:
Did you read the entire post?
I did, I read several times. I disable the Scripting in my Internet Explorer. But I was still ask to join RewardsGold membership, and I couldn’t pass the join page without referral part.
I already have a subscription from signing up for this 3 months ago. Any way I can sign up again and tack this on to the subscription I have when it expires?
if you put in a real email address you can contact wsj support and they will activate your account
I do not understand why people are so lazy and really dishonest when they are getting a free deal. Just do the survey. It will not kill you or pay the subscription cost yourself.
I think I accomplished what was to be done by way of “disabling.” (How does one know if they have made the appropriate changes or not, and what do those changes do?) But I can do nothing when I get to the website, though I “earned” 250 points for completing silly survey about watches, which bumped me up to 1500 point. Is it that I don’t have enough points for WSJ subscription (what is the workaround supposed to do, then?)? I clicked on other rewards calling for fewer points, but nothing happens.
