Free 39 Week Subscription To The Wall Street Journal
I get tons of free magazines and have been getting my daily Wall Street Journal fix for years for free via Rewards Gold.
All you need to do is enter your name and address, click on the free WSJ subscription, and submit the page. You won’t get any kind of email confirmation and there’s no need to verify your email address, just wait a few weeks for it to start coming automatically!

Love the wall st journal
Thanks Dan, I’ve been getting my free daily WSJ for a long time now. What ‘tons of free magazines’ do you get – and how? Rewards Gold too?
How is the subsciption free
If I don’t get an email, how does the digital subscription work?
Happy new year from Times Square.
@Eitan:
When you get your subscription, they’ll send you an email with a link to set up your online account.
How do you get access to the digital version?
Do you use your own points to give us 39 week subscriptions
Dan, Halachically is this ethical?
Does the magazine company know that they are an open link for free mags and are okay with that?
I want to get this offer but I seem to be struggling with this debate. Please give me your opinion, it will be much appreciated.
Thanks Dan
Any way to use this to renew a subscription?
I know this isn’t the right place to post- but I can’t post on the forums to ask for help- posting on the forums, every time I try to post only the bank question shows up , but not the captcha
@Anonymous: how is it possible… the guy throws any newspaper on your front lawn its not going to give you specific instructions to sign up on line.
This is legit. I just started getting delivery of the WSJ from the last offer than Dan posted a while back. I only wish that this was good for renewals.
How long does it take to come?
And what qualifies as ‘new subscription’?
@CLE:
I’ve posted many of them over the years.
@ploni:
Huh??
@H:
Sure, just signup someone else, works fine.
@aaa:
Try another browser or computer?
@Jason:
It is, I alternate between all of our names.
@Mileswhore:
just wanted to follow up. i dont actually want the paper-just the online subscription
Is there a way to only sign up for the digital edition, or must you get the print? Thanks for the link!
Is there a problem when you want to suspend the paper for vacation?
just went thru the entire survey process for the WSJ. when i completed it, pressed “click”, it went back to the first blank page again. all that time wasted.!!!
I just got 11 people a New Year’s present. They all have no clue that they got it and when they get it, they will have no clue where it it from!!
@Trouble Maker: It seems that sending subscriptions to other people is abusive. This will likely result in everyone losing the privilege.
Do we need to cancel when the time is up or will they just stop sending?
For those interested in the WSJ and Barron’s digital version, if you are using Firefox browser add add-in RefControl and make:
Site: online.wsj.com
Action Custom: http://news.google.com/news/
Site: blogs.wsj.com/
Action Custom: http://news.google.com/news/
Site: online.barrons.com
Action Custom: http://news.google.com/news/
After about 10 articles it may require log in, in which case clear your browser and you are good.
I have been using RefControl for years. It makes it look like you are coming from Google, because hits coming from searches are free. There is now an article limit, but you can refresh the count by clearing browser.
Posting comments on WSJ is free.
@debby you can suspend service or, as far as I know, temporarily send to another address, for example if vacation address is in the United States.
@Dani: RewardsGold has been going on for years. It requires to fill out a survey in order to get a free subscription; what OP is doing, is giving you the direct link, the link to site you get after completing the survey, in order to bypass the survey.
So I started receiving my WSJ today, but I still don’t get how to sign up for online subscription…
I had contacted WSJ when I originally got my subscription. This subscription limits you only to the paper subscription.
what if i don’t give names of friends for this rewards gold==can i bypass it and just get the subscription
This is TOO easy. They have another 26 week offer you can do after the 39 week offer expires. The 25 word minimum survey is a breeze if you have voice activated dictation capability on your smartphone when doing the survey. So worth the cost savings. Thanks!
Is there a way to renew the subscription at a discount?
This link is dead, unless there is a way to still do it without filling out the survey.
@MR: you are a genius! thank youuuuuu
How long does it take for the subscription to start being delivered? And I’ve redeemed points for several rewards but never received any emails. Is that an issue?
not sure how to get free trial subscription. when i click on it it brings up something totally different guidance appreciated
where do you enter your name and address??
FYI all: I went through the process at RewardsGold specifically because I wanted only the digital subscription.
I just started receiving the print copy and called WSJ to set up the digital access. They told me that the account is for print only, for 39 weeks. I asked them to double check and they confirmed it.
If there is a way to get digital WSJ access for free, someone please let me know how.
@David: I ran into the same problem. I had done this in 2014 and it came with both print and digital that I was able to access on my laptop and iPad. I just did a new subscription and it it for 9 months but print only. Who read print anymore?! lol
