I wrote a post on my blog about this… yes its worth it… 1000 elevate points can transfer to 439 UA or AA miles via points.com 🙂

It’s a nice thought Angelina, but there’s a 2,000 point minimum transfer via points.com.
Though this will get you halfway there!
Another option.
Until 03/25 you can transfer 1,600 AMEX MR points into 1,040 Virgin Elevate points.
2,040 Virgin Elevate points can get you 1,613 USAirways miles. Not awesome, but not bad.
