Been to Dansdeals.com/forums lately? There are now 400 members that have made over 6,500 posts in over 750 thread topics!
I’ve been absent from the forums since my marriage in November, but it’s good to see that a good crowd is still utilizing it and Levi and Eli have been doing an excellent job keeping the site running and moderating it. I’m now back and answering your questions at the forums! (Trust me, it’s much easier to reach me there than by emailing me!)
When commenting about a deal please continue to do it at the main Dansdeals.com site, but it’s far superior to discuss miscellaneous issues over at the forums than as a comment on an unrelated post here at the main Dansdeals.com site. Whenever a topic is discussed at the forum it is automatically bumped to the top of the page, so that unlike a comment on a deal, it isn’t lost once the deal falls off the page.
It only takes a minute to register. Once there you can easily search to see if your issue is already being discussed, or find the category that your topic falls into and start a new topic thread. There are 8 categories there to keep things organized:
–General Discussion for whatever doesn’t fit elsewhere.
–Product/Tech Talk for all things related to electronics and technology.
–Trip/Destination Reports to discuss places you’ve been or want to go to.
–On The Road Paved With Miles for all things related to travel deals, points and miles.
–Credit Cards for all credit related discussions.
–Deals/Deal Requests to share your own deals and to request a deal on a product.
–Just Shmooze for all off-topic discussion.
-Trading Post to sell or trade anything. Commercial advertising is strictly prohibited.

I signed up a while ago. After signing up i realized that my email address was displayed. How can i remove it? The topic was discussed a long time ago. I dont think it was ever resolved.
@Anonymous:
You can hide your email by clicking on “Profile” on the top of the page and then click on “Account Related Settings” on the left side of the page.
That doesnt seem to work. Once you create it initially and dont select the box to hide your email address, anything you do after to try and stop it from showing it doesnt seem to work. I’ve logged in/out, checked/unchecked the box…
@Anonymous:
It will always show your email address to you, but it is hidden from everyone else.
awesome.. Forum.
