Starbucks will be offering unlimited free coffee for all healthcare and frontline responders for the month of December.
Any customer who identifies as a front-line responder to the COVID-19 outbreak will receive a free tall brewed coffee, hot or iced, no ID is required.
“Starbucks says those eligible for the free tall coffee offer are front-line health care providers and first responders include: doctors, nurses, public health workers, pharmacists, dispatchers, firefighters, paramedics, police officers, dentists and dental hygienists, mental health workers (therapist, psychologist, social worker, counselor, etc.), hospital staff such as janitors, housekeeping/security, and active-duty military.”

Wow! Is it one per person for the month?
Yesir and have to show your id
It literally says you don’t need to show an ID
It’s unlimited and you don’t have to show your ID; I got one this morning. But you probably can only get one for each visit.
How many of you are going to lie for a free coffee?
כל הפוסל במומו פוסל
TY Dan.
Tried it this morning (Hatzolah member) and it works
That list of qualifiers is quite broad. How about people who take medicine every day?
I take medicine-ball allot, would I qualify?
Anyone who “identifies” as a healthcare worker… Hmmm… If according to them Men can identify as women….
Is this for medical students too?
Nope only actual medical staff with id
Shouldn’t matter as long as you have an ID med students have been working their butts off during covid at hospitals too
At least they consider doctors front line workers. Verizon doesn’t seem to think so.
Yes they do. I got $25 off my bill for being a dr
Do teachers count as essential – I’m not sure why you would qualify therapists and dental hygienists and not public/private school teachers….
close proximity, saliva, blood, aerosols-all day for dental hygienists, dental assistants and dentists
Hygienists are at highest risk of any profession for infection, also we actually show up (we’re not crying to a union) for 8+ hours a day to bathe in your aerosolized spit.
Hopefully, you’ll get something nice for teachers day.
Thank you!! That’s what I was thinking.. Cool, again.. teachers getting forgotten.
I’m a clinical social worker. What proof do I need to bring with me? I can’t take my license off the wall/
Read the post again?
Wow. That’s totally generous!
how do they verify that you are a health care worker
Read the post again?
Offended that health actuaries didn’t make the list 🙂
And the spouses of health actuaries!
Wow
How about PhDs?
do they include syrup for free too : ) anyone care to share experience
Sounds like SB isn’t going to put themselves in a position to pick and choose. If you identify verbally as a front line worker then you’ll get your coffee no questions asked. Of you wanna game the system – easy – go right ahead if that free coffee is that important. *Shrug*
Don’t worry, Starbucks won’t see a penny profit lost
Amazing!!! I’m a therapist and this is fantastic!
Good job
Thanks for remembering us health worker.
I guess teachers got left off that list …..
Teacher are the most front line workers..
No not unless schools reopen
That is false. Virtually all schools outside the big cities have been open all year. My wife has gone every day. Almost 90% of school districts in Michigan offer in person learning options.
Schools are open in some areas… We have been here since September…
Thank you so very much.
No coffee , I need sleep
My daughter is a nurse on covid unit in a hospital. The Starbucks in the hospital is still charging everyone for their coffee
