Signup for Twitter and you can save money with AMEX.
All you have to do is sync your American Express card with your twitter account to save money at rotating stores.

Wait a minute and you should have a message in your Twitter notifications tab that you have successfully enrolled.
You can sync multiple cards to save even more.
In the image below you can see where to write the tweet, how to tweet, and where to check for the confirmation in the notification tab.
You can register all of your primary and secondary AMEX cards on Twitter to save $50 on each card, it just entails either: Unsyncing and resyncing cards via this link or making a Twitter account for each card.
If you do unsync and resync multiple cards on the same Twitter account you must change the tweet slightly each time like:
#AmexMarriott
#AmexMarriott 1
#AmexMarriott 2
And so on.
When resyncing there is no need to fill out your billing address, just fill out the first half of the form with your name, email, and your credit card number. You can skip the optional fields asking for your billing address, card expiration, and the 4 digit code. You can use the same email address for all of your cards.
Forgot which card you registered? Just unsync and resync.
AmericanExpress.com method:
To see if you have this offer in your account just login to your AMEX account, click on any of your cards to go the activity page, click on “AMEX Offers For You,” and save the offer to your account.
If you also have multiple cards with the offer don’t rush to save the offer to your account! Open up the Offers page for each card in a separate tab in the same browser. Then go between the tabs to save the offer to each of your targeted cards. Otherwise once you save the offer to one card it disappears from your other cards.
You can also register your secondary cards for their own AMEX login and register each of those cards as well.

If you buy a $200 GC at the hotel, that should work for the sync deal. And then you can use that GC at any of the Marriott properties listed above right?
I did the same thing with the courtyard marriott sync deal a while back. I bought gift cards at courtyard marriott, it worked and then i used them during a marriott stay.
Would be awesome if I could do this deal and then use it at a Ritz Carlton hotel in combo with the RC card I got a couple months ago 🙂

Confirmed Success. I just bought $200 gift card at a local Marriott hotel and receive the Congrat email right away.
With all the various Marriotts excluded, which ones are included?
For those of you that bought the gift card, was it an e-gift card or a physical gift card? The Marriotts that I’ve called haven’t had physical gift cards.

Bought an online $200 gift card through the Marriott website. Gornisht. Did NOT get the $50 statement credit and AMEX refused to entertain the notion that their terms were misleading–despite the fact it says it must be booked through Marriott.com and the next line says it must be reserved at a Marriott hotel?? Followed by excluding EVERY brand, confirmed by Marriott customer service that this makes no sense.
