Elon Musk is offering $47 to people who refer voters in Pennsylvania, Georgia, Nevada, Arizona, Michigan, Wisconsin, and North Carolina to sign his petition to support the First and Second Amendments.

Sign the petition using Dan@DansDeals.com as the referring email and we’ll donate all of the referral proceeds to charity.

His goal is 1 million signatures, so apparently he has $47 million to burn if he’s actually paying out $47 per referred signature?

Not sure why that’s a good use of Elon’s $47 million, but then again, I can’t find any offer terms, so we’ll see have to wait and see what happens.

Wow, encouraging Jewish to vote for antisemitic fascists.
I guess history does repeat itself.. it’s 1930’s Germany all over again.

Tett

Yes, the guy whose daughter married a Jewish guy plus converted to Judaism and the guy who formally recognized Jerusalem as the capital of Israel and moved the US embassy there, he’s antisemitic.

Moe

Good point. Maybe David is a Neturei Karta guy.

Love this

From the terms – “Eligible people may only list one eligible person as their referrer.”

Does this mean that he will only pay if the referrer is also from one of those swing states?

Avi Rosenberg

Love this. Elon Musk and Trump are true patriots and care about our constitution and country as well as Israel. Trump 2024!

JDM

If Elon Musk and the degenerate Trump are true patriots, G-d save us all, and our republic.

LK

agree with JDM. And some of us do see them as anti-Semitic.

M

Avi- Agree with you

I know.
People discount us as deep blue, but we are actually a lot closer to purple than it seems.

When you have 200 billion pretty much anything is a good use of your money!

I get a lot of nachas that Ohio is not on that list 🙂

Buckeye

When did OH exit swing status?

CtownBin

For presidential- it’s because of Trump, he does way better here than almost any other Republican candidate down-ballot. So the answer would be 2016. In Senate, we’re still KIND of a swing state- we have 1 D and 1 R Senator, and the D senator is polling ahead for re-election next month. We’ll have to see if Ohio returns to swing state status for president once Trump’s days of running are behind us- it’s too soon to tell.

Ch

When you make 70 million a week it’s a drop in the bucket

BusinessAttorney

I will go out on a limb here and guess that what he’s doing is trying to get people in swing states who are the kind of people who would sign a petition like this (wink, wink, Republicans) to register to vote so they can get the $47. You’re not allowed to pay people to register to vote, but I suppose you can pay them IF THEY ARE REGISTERED anyway, to sign a (pointless) petition. So it’s a cute little workaround… $47 million to register 50-100k people in swing states who wouldn’t be registered otherwise…

ZH Cohen

He isn’t paying the people who sign, he is paying the one who refers them.

More likely he is collecting data on voters in swing states who lean right, to target them in a get-out-the-vote effort.

Nosson

Just a heads up for people living in Israel: if you are returning to the US for Sukkos, the week immediately after Sukkos (before Rosh Chodesh) is early voting! No need for absentee ballots! Please spread the word!

Abe2023

Correct me if I am wrong but what a great way to buy teflin!?

Mark

I’m surprised that this website would support an antisemite like Musk who uses Twitter account to promote pro-Nazi and anti-Jewish rhetoric.

Also, I think 47 refers to the fact that Trump would be the 47th President if reelected.

Jalen Brunson

I’M LOST like a fish #yousoundlikealib!!

Mark

I am a liberal. And a yid! Yes, we exist – and we vote for Democrats up and down the ballot.

Wonder

How can a yid vote for woke America?? And the no support for Israel?
Even if you are satmer I’m assuming you would not want more Jews to die?
I personally am from a satmer background and have worked on college campus, dunno how you can vote for them…

Matt

Then you support the murder of babies

AB

Agreed ‍♀️

Michelle

Thank you, Mark! Twitter is infested with anti-Semites because Elon won’t put a stop to it. I deal with this problem on a daily basis. I’m surprised that this was posted as well. Anti-Semites of any stripes should receive zero support from the Jewish community.

GUWonder

Antisemites of any and all stripes should receive zero support from all communities, but Musk and Trump willfully provide oxygen to antisemites and other xenophobia too while they pretend as if it’s all about the 1st Amendment. Neither dude is required by law to platform up racists, but they willfully do it anyway for their own reasons.

This website is only available in the United States.

Paid for by America PAC. Not authorized by any candidate or candidate’s committee. http://www.theamericapac.org.

Try to use some VPN connection or another with the routing to the US, and then the full site will likely be accessible.

Jacob eastman

If he’s making a public promise to pay if you do this action and he doesn’t pay anybody who completes the action, how is this not going to blow up in his face? This is so bizzare because it is almost begging for folks to just register everyone they know or dont know and get as many referral payments as possible. Also zero info on how money is paid whether its by paypal, check, gift card, etc…. also no email or phone confirmation of petition getting signed once you do it. There’s also zero mainstream media coverage of this which seems weird because this is the type of thing they like to cover.

Jack

Was wondering the exact same. I referred 8 but way too easy and crazy noones talking about it. Making me want to stop at 8

Young Kee

Is this real? Why would Elon use his money for this? Sounds like a scam

Jimmy S

Makes me think less of you that you would post this – despite the idea that the result goes to charity, this is very wrong.

Doug

I’m honestly not surprised… anyone willing to use loopholes to collect millions of points/miles on scores of “authorized users” is tweaking their ethics to benifit themselves or to convince themselves they’re benefitting others.

It’s quite clear what’s going on here, and I’d never participate.

AE

And yet, here you are, on Dan’s website, supporting his ethics… Hypocrisy, thy name is Doug!
