can i get 11×17 for the same price?
@paperman:
Try and let us know .. 🙂
is this a sale that will stay on, or is it a fluke?
@wondering
It’s a sale and it’s not either the first time.
Could i ship it to montreal? and get the rebate still?
1 case = 10 reams. Isn’t it cheaper to buy by the ream at 1 cent each with their ubiquitous rebates? It ends up around 43 cents tax per (in NY), but the price you calculated above doesn’t seem to include the tax you’d be paying on the case.
Yes, the 1 cent is cheaper but 1) The 1 cent coupon is limited to 1 per customer, and many cashiers are enforcing that rule so you may have to go back to the store 4 times and 2) that is limited to 4 rebates, if you need more paper than that, this is a good deal.
If I buy 2 cases will I get an $88 visa gift card? Or is it $44 gift card even if you buy 2 cases?
If I order 2cases I’ll get 2 gift cards?
@mike:
You’ll get $88.
I just bought 2 cases with the code and the total was $112.56 after tax. Minus the 2 $44 cards that I hope show up.. I figure $12.28 per case. Is that a good price? I’m not sure what I did wrong but “a penny a ream” certainly sounds better!
If anyone here thinks I should cancel the order, let me know!
(First time ordering paper!)
Thanks.
For me the total was $102.98
The coupon might work only for one case?
In for one. Thanks.
Sorry. My was $112.12 “after tax”
Just spoke to them. They said the coupon was $2.50 off each case. If I’d have done it separately it would have been $5 less. Not really worth my time to cancel and start over. Just curios if $13 for a case of this paper is a ok deal or not. I don’t care if “I could have gotten it for $0.10, if the usual price is like $20 or more, I’m happy.
would you know if the rebate is valid for Canadian shoppers at staples.ca?
Out of Stock
Hmm back in stock, as of 11:30 MST
I am being charged for shipping under $50?
@sp:
Did you enroll in Staples rewards?
@Dan: yes
Where can I find the coupon for one ream for one cent?
@Yakov: @Yakov: Simply go to staples.com search coupons. I do that search almost daily.
The penny a ream deal is usually limited to one per person and is usually only in store. This saves the shlep and is about equal per ream to their more common 5 reams for 5$
great, thanks for reminder. nice to get the 5x points with ink. Can load the GC onto Serve?
mine was 109.77 no tax
for those looking for the penny reams, here is the coupon

Hi Dan,
Please include tax total as well so we don’t get surprised with an extra $5 in the future.
@Todah:
Not all states have tax and the tax rate is different in every county in the country.
How would I possibly include the tax?
@Todah:
every purchase has tax, its a fact of life… get used to it!!
any other $5 off code it was applied to my first buy, i want to buy one more case
y dont u post the deal in the better way as a mm deal… theres an instore coupon for $29 off per case
@hey:
Link?
@Dan: the link above, on the reg staples coupon pg

For those who are interested, the rebate can be applied for online without needing to mail or print anything, it takes two seconds. All you need is your order number and zip code. Go to: stapleseasyrebates.com
@pearl
Even thought the 1¢/ream says limit one it works for more reams. Current Staples rebate for the 1¢ paper is limit 4 so just make sure the cashier scans the coupon 4 times (needs to be scanned for each ream).
Also if you print that coupon now and save it for next week you can do the same thing on sunday/monday and earn $2.99/ream after rebate (should also be limit 4) so a total of almost $12 profit! (In-Store) Coupons have a 2 day grace period so it will work until monday as long as cashier is willing to scan it.
@Eli:
the $29 coupon works on the case as well
Today has 20% off – will make this about $5 including tax if the rebate goes through.

Just got an email that rebate was invalidated because “product limit exceeded.” Anyone else get this? FWIW, I only ordered one case.
@Anon: yes I also got that email.
I also got. I ordered 2. The limit was 2.
Maybe it’s relared to the fact that I ordered the paper a few months ago and received the offer then?
Although it’s not mentioned in the t and c. DAN?
Ordered 2 cases to be donated to my kids school! Great deal even w/sales tax!
Dan,
the rebate form states “Limit 1 rebate per name/address/household.”
I am confused why the post states “Rebate limit of 2 cases.”
