I just bought the Oral-B 8850/3000 and have the same review as you. I didn’t understand how much better it could be than my $10 toothbrush, and I’m strongly convinced to NEVER buy a cheap one again.

I bought the oral b vitality a few years back and trust me,.these things are amazing and worth every penny. BTW, some heads are better than others, so whenever you buy a new head, try experimenting with different ones.

I’ve been using the ProfessionalCare 3000 since I got married. I think it adds a tray to hold multiple brushes, useful for a couple using one unit with 2 heads, and extra brushing modes, whatever that means. These things are great, you really feel the difference. And there’s no question, you can use a lot less toothpaste, though I’m not sure why that works.
