While it is true that the Ink cards give 5% cash back, the American express business cards get you 10% back (over $250) as part of the American Express OPEN program. Under $250, you still get 5% back under the OPEN program. (Note this is for orders placed online only.) If you are using the American Express Simply Cash card, you get the 10% back plus the 5% for shopping at office supplies store – definitely the best card for shopping at OfficeMax.

Any Amex which is a business card (the Amex Gold is one) you should have gotten a choice when you signed up of either getting 4 extra points or 10% off when you buy from any American express OPEN partners.

BTW, effective 1/1/2014, OfficeMax.com will no longer be part of the OPEN Savings benefit.

Office max doesn’t seem to carry them in Brooklyn and Office Depot only accepts cash for them
Help!!!
