Pumped to put this one to use. Thank you.
Hmmmmm Glenlivet
“Aromatic, elegant and complex, this superb single malt has been aged for a minimum of 18 years in American Bourbon and Sherry oak” Is this not an issue with Yayin Nesech? Thanks all!
@Aron: speak to ur LOR mine said its a problem.
Another company where the company’s manufacturing location and employees have boycotted Israeli products.
ThataBoy Nacho!
Making Kochba Proud!
Any recommendations for websites with good pricing on scotch?
thx
Do you really need the original receipt from the purchase? Don’t think I have that lying around…
LOR??
Oh, Local Orthodox Rabbi… I asked R’ Google…
is there a limit per address?
any reason not to print up a years worth of rebates?
The winery on 18th Ave boro park has discounted this all year long along with other great items.
Just ask for the 55th Str special and you get 10% off or more on all items. It’s the best pricing available anyplace.
just in time for Purim!
@Aron: check out http://star-k.org/cons-appr-liquor.htm it seems to be a problem
@Stephen — Doesn’t seem to be a limit on how many bottles you can a discount for. Each request must have its own form and bottle UPC.
But rebate requests must be postmarked by 3/15/14
@stephen:
Read the fine print…
must be postmarked by 3/15/14 and one per household
I shop in the wine barrel on 13th ave 48-49 nice man I’m sure he will be glad to do it for you. He took care of me plenty of times in the past
Am i the only one who the site wont open for?
@Yankee, it won’t open for me in Firefox, but does open in Chrome.
The wine barrel is always very good to me I love that store
Cheapest prices in town he deliversand he always is smiling and has a nice word to say
customer service in wine barrel really sets them above the rest
@Sam Epstein: I don’t mean the guy any harm, it’s a nice store and I talk to the owner whenever I pass by and even give him occasional business, but the Winery on 18th avenue has some of the worst pricing I’ve ever seen in my life. He charges full full price on most items and then makes you feel good by discounting an item 10-15% for you, all while there are many other stores in Brooklyn that publish significantly cheaper prices than his “discounted” ones. If you want great pricing and great selection go to Schnapps on Ave M and East 4th. His pricing literally blows away the Winery’s.
liqueur galore on avenue j since theyre advertising blitz had been on mission where theyre prices came down to costco prices. i cant believe how much i saved on my last order. service was superb.
@Aron:
Where do you see that?
liquorama.net has great pricing on these 2 bottles – $40 for the 15 and $70 for the 18 (the 12 year old is an even better deal), no tax but there is a shipping charge so it doesn’t pay for 1 or 2 bottles
use code newsletter5 for an additional 5% discount
@aron – Where did you see that description?
@DK23 Just Google it and you’ll find it….
@Aron:
not a problem of yayin nesech, at least acording to most postkim
