ny sales tax adds 20.86. Not worth it anymore! Did dan consider this?
Dan can you please include the fact that there is $20.86 in NY sales tax. thanks
Does that still make it worth it Dan? Please answer quickly as this deal is set to sell out soon
does nobody care about this besides me? nu?
No tax for me, ship it to a state besides NY.
Please also note these coins may have been previously traded. They are in brilliant uncirculated condition as per Apmex
did you buy one dan? I feel that is the true barometer of a good investment. if you didn’t why not?
@dfa, spot is around $21, sounds like a good deal to me, i ordered 4
For those of you concerned about tax. Jmbullion.com is charging $24.39 per with no shipping charges. So $243.90 for ten. I have never been charged sales tax by them but I live in Missouri.
I’m not much of a statistician but it looks like silver prices are on their way down.

My guess is they are trying to unload these at the high before it starts its decline again.
Just a random guess, but the chart has lower highs.
if you buy 500
@ @James W I was looking at prices if paid by check. Which is currently $24.29 for 1-19. The fee they charge for credit/PayPal makes using those payment methods unattractive. But to be honest I would most likely not get eagles as Philharmonic’s are $23.33 per using a check and $24.26 per on card.
I think this is a very good deal, if you have a few extra dollars & want to invest in something small & “forget about it” this is the right thing to do.
what the condition ?
If the price of silver is currently $21, how is $234 for 10 a good deal?
@Nate: That’s the whole point of this thread: It is NOT a good deal, is the consensus.
Last I checked, reputable brick and mortar dealers took 4-7% markup over spot. 12% is a bit high. Although for eBay and without doing fees it does get more attractive.
This is actually a very good deal.
American Silver Eagles typically trade for a $2.50 premium over the spot silver price. That premium is recovered when the coins are sold to another collector in the future, as ASEs are regarded as high premium coins.
Anyone who thinks that they can get Eagles for the spot price (with shipping included), is clearly clueless about the silver market, and should probably avoid this kind of investment.
I happen to be quite knowlegable about these coins, and will be taking full advantage of this offering.
Thanks for the heads-up, Dan !!!
It is up to $277.99, I guess it was a good deal while it lasted
