Check your AMEX Offers to register your Marriott AMEX cards to earn 10 points on US dining, US gas, and Marriott hotel spending:
The bonuses run through 10/31 and there is a $7,500 cap in each spending category.
I value Marriott points at about 0.65 cents each, so this like earning a 6.5% rebate in these categories, which is a pretty good deal.
Will you take advantage of these offers?

I think I might
i have $50 off $200 for marriott, which i think is even better than this!
It should stack if you have both….
The gas bonus is for gasoline only or anything sold in gas station?
Only got +6 for gas and restaurants. P2 got the +8
Its +6 on the business card, since that usually earns 4x bonus on these categories. The consumer cards dont regularly have a bonus there and earn just 2x, that’s why the offer is +8. Either way, the result is that this offer earns the same 10x on all Marriott cards.
That’s what I assumed but P2 has the biz card that got +8
I’d have him/her check again, my hunch is it’s an error, either by P2 or AMEX. Today AMEX sent out emails advertising the offer as 10x, to all card types. This also matches the Chase offer and is probably the offer for everyone.
Like Avi asked. With Chase cards you can count on being able to buy third party gift cards and have the bonus apply. With Amex, probably not?
dan, what’s more valuable, to spend gas or restaurant expenses on the reserve or the amex consumer bonvoy?
If you’re getting 5 UR pts. per $1, that’s worth 7.5% vs. this offer worth 6.5% – based on typical valuations. Obviously % changes based on particular redemption
Chase Bonvoy has 10x points for gas stations and restaurants. I foind it in my Bonvoy app.
But expires 9/30 vs. 10/31
